The best parenting advice I've heard: You can't teach your kids anything. You just have to embody the things you want them to learn. Make a list of the traits and values you want your kids to have. Then make sure you're living by them every single day. That's really it.

post of the day here.
Lots of advice about running technique from people who have never taken a biomechanics class. Runners: preserve your habitual mechanics unless there's a specific reason to change them.

Why I don’t give a shit about the algorithm: this article does a decent job of explaining my entrepreneurship journey and digital creator philosophy (lifted/based upon my recent appearance on the Masters of Scale podcast). thewantrepreneurshow.com/blo…

Capacity Training is out on the App Store! I've been working on this for a while, and I'm really happy with it so far. Right now it's mainly focused on combining running and lifting (and, of course, easy biking), but it'll soon do a lot more. Link and learn more below ⬇️

Comparison is one of the hardest parts of building a business. One day you’re on a call with a year-old company doing $25M a month, profitable, no VC. The next you’re reading about a billion-dollar exit that took 15 years. Meanwhile, your own business is growing 400%, 50% month over month, and somehow you still feel behind. It’s crazy how quickly you can lose perspective on what you’re building by looking at what someone else has built. There is no playbook. No universal timeline. You’re on your own journey.

I believe the greatest gift you can give your kids is a calm home. It’s not the big house or the best toys that stick with them. It’s a place where they feel safe. Where mistakes are met with patience. Where voices stay low. Where hard conversations are always followed by repair. Kids absorb everything. Create peace and they'll carry it for life.

i actually cringe at the idea of working on something i'm not obsessed with anymore
There’s something incredibly powerful about a team that’s genuinely obsessed with what they’re building.

I’m telling all athletes…STOP TAKING CREATINE. You don’t need it. Stop putting that nonsense in your body. A good diet and proper sleep are best. Stop letting little Jimmy at the local Planet Fitness tell the top 1% of human bodies what to supplement. Creatine is like filling a balloon with air it looks bigger and better till it’s time to put it under stress. That’s why soft tissue injuries happen. Your muscles lack pure substance.
Community note
Scientific research and the International Society of Sports Nutrition show no evidence that creatine causes soft tissue injuries or weakens muscles. Studies show creatine users experience an equal or lower incidence of muscle strains and cramping compared to non-users. thegpni.com/articles/show/…
