👀👀👀…just getting started. Loads of talent on this roster and plenty more to come. Early looks give a hint of a DEEP 2029 pitching group!

Worked on my curve and drop ball today!l with @HaleyMeinen With my curve I focused on being able to start it more inside so it breaks to the corner/river instead of curving more off the plate. Really confident in my curve soon right now!! For the drop, I worked on being able to stay on top of it longer so I can start it higher and get the same break to it. Excited to play our first HS game against Katy HS at Katy this Wednesday! @KarenWeekly @UACoachMurphy @TexasCoachWhite @CoachNealPT @CoachTarr @MelyssaLombardi @Trisha_Ford @BethTorina @CoachDeifel @UT_CoachZ @EhrenEarleywine @CoachELeyba @BUcoachNewman @BUMoore @GassoPatty @mysha_sataraka @CaitlinLowe @_TimWalton @lmcmahon7

This 👇🏼 with the ever changing landscape, make sure you’re asking the right questions on visits. Also, find out how the money is distributed…monthly, end of the semester, lump sum etc.

Sept. 1st has arrived…2028’s as you get visits lined up, feel free to share with @BradyVernon for our recruiting notebook. This lines up with major sports like FB & BB! We’ve seen the mail, now let’s celebrate visits! Welcome to the start line Class of 2028! @SoftbalAmerica

Hi 2028s, I hope you're super excited for today. I know a chunk of you have already reached out or we chatted about this earlier, but if you're interested in talking with me about your process and potential visits, please let me know.

🥎 McCartney. Shortstop, Lady Magic. Home run power to the pull side. Drives it to right-center just as easily — on time, not guessing. Strong arm from the 5/6 hole, smooth release. Plays all day. 🔗 rankings.rule42.com | @Rule42sports

This is LEGIT. I think what makes it especially exciting is that it’s not just another recruiting platform, it’s bringing a professional scouting and evaluation model into the amateur & professional space. Modernizing how amateur and professional athletes are scouted, evaluated, ranked, and discovered. Instead of relying primarily on showcases, exposure events, recruiting networks, and word of mouth, athletes will be getting evaluated through a standardized, credible evaluation system. The 20–80 scouting scale is the traditional grading system used by Major League Baseball scouts to evaluate a player’s tools (5) and project future ability. I love this for the sport of Softball.

Renée James, is coming into the softball world ready to play. The founder and CEO of Rule42, a sports technology startup, comes from being the former president of Intel Corporation, where she had a 28-year career. Also founded and led Ampere Computing as CEO until its $6.5 billion acquisition by SoftBank Her investment into AUSL, will put her on the league’s Board of Directors and she’ll be in the youth space acquiring Softball America.
