Was fortunate to be part of Murph's first team as a Head Coach. His influence on me as a coach and as a person was pretty special. It's been over 40 years since I played for Murph and he and I still stay in touch. #GoBrewCrew
Tonight, Pat Murphy will manage the Brewers in their first World Series game since 1982.
So where was Murphy then? He was in East Tennessee, starting his coaching career as a 23-year-old Division III football assistant.

Proud to have played for Murph back in the early 80's. He has had a major influence on my life and I am one of the lucky ones that still call him a friend and mentor.
