Core memory unlocked: football practice in the gym on a rainy day

Elijah Ruiz, a pro-style QB for the Class of 2025, has ignited his senior season with impressive performances. In the first 3 weeks, he has completed 68% of his passes for 749 yards and 11 touchdowns. With a strong arm and the ability to make every throw on the field, Elijah is brimming with potential and is certainly capable of competing at the next level. He stands 5'11.5", weighs 180 lbs, and maintains a 3.0 GPA at Patrick Henry HS in San Diego, CA. [Quarterback Magazine Profile](quarterbackmagazine.com/prof…) Follow him on X @elijahruizqb

7v7s from last Friday & Tuesday!

One of the craziest times in my career! We had half a season take place in the spring due to Covid. We spent a day shoveling snow in mid February to practice! Shoveling snow fits right in with painting the practice field in the August heat! Good times and great GA memories!

A reminder to those seniors with no offers: Josh Allen had no offers coming out of high school. He went to a JUCO, and rode the pine for the first 3 games before getting an opportunity. Even after a great year, he had just one offer: Wyoming. He's 1 of 8 NFL QBs still playing.

RT @KenWilmesherr1: Any high school or college offensive linemen in San Diego want to get some work in this Saturday DM for place and time.…

Less than 5% of high school athletes make it to every summer workout. Guess what percentage of high school athletes play sports in college? Yup, you guessed it... Less than 5%!

To succeed as an athlete, you need to learn how to handle failure. Once you improve your attitude and start learning from each failure, you can make great improvements and reach your full potential.

Quarterbacks understand that your leadership skills are the most important attribute you have. Use your influence carefully and remember a word of encouragement during failure is worth more than a dictionary of praise after success.
