There's something about The Band playing
"The Weight" at The Last Waltz that just settles in your chest.
You can feel how tired everyone is, how much they've already carried, and how none of them are pretending otherwise.
Then the Staples join in-especially Mavis
—and suddenly it's not just a song anymore. It's a room full of people quietly admitting they need each other. The load doesn't disappear, but it shifts. You stop feeling like you're the only one holding it.
Some music just reminds you that you don't have to do any of this alone.
