This month is the most brutal month for software engineers.... Probably this year lakhs of families won't be celebrating Diwali, Christmas, New Year and Nagula panchami. I only have one suggestion... Build an app to connect all people who got laid off from same company. All these engineers should take revenge on their company by building exact same product that their company is building... Using AI... Now they can develop quickly better product. Ambani and Adani should support them.

I have an idea to end corruption in India.... Just like in Zomato and Swiggy where we give rating to food delivery agents for his behavior We should be able to give rating to the government employees after our work is done... If govt employees rating is <4 star - No salary increment <3.5 star - enquiry + transfer to bad place <3 star - termination (after enquiry) If a common person like me got this idea, why are politicians not bringing this law?

Their HRs are reaching out on LinkedIn to hire again If they want engineers, they could have re-used their employees in the required teams instead of firing them... Are HRs playing this layoff & hiring game to save their own jobs? CEOs & CFOs should keep an eye on their HR team

Dear Indian IT companies.... If you want to build superior software like USA or China.... please pay salaries like them... You can't pay 6 LPA & expect engineers to build products that are built by engineers who are getting crores of salary. Start paying min 60 lpa - 1cr salaries.... In 1 year, we will overtake China In 2 years, we will overtake USA In 3 years, we will overtake Alien technology You get what you pay for

Please stop blaming Indians for not supporting Indian tech products... All these Indian apps released their unfinished versions to show them as Indian alternatives during the rumors of twitter ban, WhatsApp ban, tik-tok ban, PubG ban, Chinese apps ban, etc They want to use nationalism to promote their inferior products Millions of Indians downloaded & started using our Indian apps... But as these apps were released in hurry, users faced latency issues, UI issues, some features not working, hanging, crashing issues... Why blame Indians when you can't give good product?

I have one black mark on my career... I switched one company within 10 months. It might give me a negative tag as frequent hopper & gives negative impression in interviews.... So... from now onwards, if any interviewer or HR asks me the reason.... I will tell I lost my job in AI based restructuring layoffs😅😅

"You can't win an unfair game by playing fair" I think in the current job market.... If you are not going to lie on your resume or in interview... you are not going to make it.... I know few people, who are updating their resume for every job, writing all the skills in their resume to match job description. When they get interview call, they are doing crash course & learning some skills before interview.... HRs only see whether resume is matching the job description or not.... they don't see you are honest or lying So... Never play fair in a game where others cheat.

I think, European politicians are dumbest people on this planet. If your population is collapsing & you need someone to do blue collar jobs.... why not import immigrants from peaceful countries like India (or China)? Irrespective of religion, Indians are the most disciplined & law-abiding people... When was the last time... -An Indian carried out a terrorist attack in another country? -Indians participated in violent protests? -Indians were involved in grooming gangs? -Indians looted shops? -Indians tried to convert others to their religion? -Threatened people for insulting their religion? Poor Indians.... simply mind their own business, work hard, follow law, send money to their family in India... Yet, they seem to be among the most hated people online What a stupid world we live in..... Do they even have brains? Why import violent people when you can welcome some of the hardest-working people on the planet?

Instead of putting lot of effort to get promotion, to get visibility & recognition in office. Isn't it a good idea, to just finish the work they expect you to complete. And spend rest of the time, preparing for interviews? I feel getting promotion depends on lot of unknown factors....you can't even crack other company, if you lose your job... Where as by preparing for interviews, we will get some unknown confidence. All you need is luck in one good interview to change your life

Did you observe this..... -Now almost all companies have started using AI -Even AI is already writing the best code (probably almost reached its peak) -Layoffs stopped -But no software engineer is free in office, they are getting extra work as code writing part is taken care by AI I think all this AI noise is gone now, industry is slowly stabilizing Though AI can write code, the value of human engineers didn't reduce Probably, I think from here onwards... good days for us??
