Claiming you’ll “lock” a token is free talk. Plenty of projects swear they’ll lock it up, then the moment it launches, they rug you with a dump.
@ConvictionLock makes that promise visible, with an unlock date and a cost for changing your mind.
In simple words, Conviction lets users lock ERC-20 tokens on
@RobinhoodCrypto Chain and display their commitments through public profiles. Anyone can inspect the positions.
User can choose the token, amount, duration and exit terms. Flexible locks start with a 25% early-exit penalty that falls toward zero at maturity.
Alternatively, choose no early exit and keep the principal locked until the deadline.
The penalty creates the first incentive to stay.
Up to 90% goes to eligible active positions locking the same token, divided by principal amount. Those positions must qualify before the exit block, and the allocation shrinks when eligible principal is smaller than the exiting position’s principal.
At least 10% supports
$CONV buybacks and burning. If nobody qualifies, the whole penalty follows that route. Community rewards become claimable only after both commitments mature; exiting early forfeits unclaimed allocations.
Projects can also fund reward campaigns.
Here, the share depends on tokens locked multiplied by commitment length. For example, 1,000 tokens committed for 360 days carry twelve times the weight of the same amount committed for 30 days. Campaign rewards vest over the commitment, and early exit forfeits the unvested portion.
Conviction Lockdrops add another mechanism: funders choose which existing locks qualify, and recipients decide whether to accept.
Every claimed reward starts a new lock with no early exit. Creators fund a 2% fee; recipients pay no claim fee.
Recently, CONV team completing its
$CONV sale powered by
@Moshdottrade /
@BundleCatAI, raising 8 ETH from 53 backers.
It says Mosh’s swarm holds 70% of total supply outside circulation and recovered 2.21 ETH, or 27.6% of the bundle, in its first six hours.
From my perspective, this is a solid token management infrastructure for RHC, especially for projects launched on Mosh or
@ponsdotfamily, but the next milestones should zoom in on how Convictions can unlock deeper, practical benefits for projects beyond just on-chain reputation and credibility.
