Our @GiuseppeGuerin1 noted 6 recommendations: 1. put the coop identity into law, 2. make public procurement reward value & not just price, 3. build coop finance, 4. turn business succession into coop ownership, 5. teach coops in schools, & 6. act across borders. #EUSMEWeek
A More Co-operative Economy:
Europe’s Pragmatic Answer to an Age of Turmoil. This is the title of my presentation this afternoon in Dublin. Cooperatives can play a significant role in shaping economic and social change. Lead a cooperative is lead also a policy ecosystem.
Yesterday & today we are representing #coops in Dublin🇮🇪, at the Network of SME Envoys & the #SMECAssembly2026!
We discussed simplification, Ireland’s SME policy and #EUInc, the 28th regime.
EU Inc must be open to every type of enterprise, and using it must remain a choice. 💪
Day 2 in Dublin: the #SMECAssembly2026 opens! 🇮🇪
Minister of Minister for Enterprise, Tourism and Employment Peter Burke: competitiveness should not remain just a word, but be translated into pragmatic reforms for all enterprises.
