Wonderful to welcome the students from Jubilee Gardens - a local charity where adults with varying levels of learning disability grow all sorts of wonderful produce - back to the Park. They saw the 🎃 they grew from seed, on display in our Pumpkin Patch, before meeting our 🦏.
We’re delighted to be among the UK’s best-rated animal attractions in a nationwide poll by Ski Famille. Analysing Google reviews for 39 UK zoos, safari & wildlife parks, we scored 4.75 – joint-highest alongside Folly Farm Adventure Park & Zoo. Thanks to everyone who reviewed us.
We couldn't let #WorldSlothDay pass without mentioning our very own Linne's Two-toed #Sloth, Tambopata. Pictured here blissfully fast asleep in the canopy of the Tropical House (📷 Stephen Cole). Thanks also to visitor Alina for her image of him looking straight at the camera.
Meet Peggy, Pat and Phil: our very own Albert Square residents. Our #Penguin Keepers are great @bbceastenders fans, so much so that they've named this year's three Penguin chicks after some of the soap's most iconic characters. @BBCOne#Eastenders@InsideSoapMag#penguinchicks
Today is International Zookeeper Day and World Animal Day. We will be celebrating the hardworking members of our keeping team who dedicate so much time and effort to the care of our animals.
Thanks to all our amazing keepers.

With a lovely, warm start to autumn, along with the arrival of some much-needed rain, our summer displays are still looking spectacular, with the #gardens awash with stunning colour.

We were delighted to feature in Blue Peter’s latest Book Club episode about time-travelling #Penguins, Pablo & Splash. In the episode, they helped Bird Keeper Laura prepare food for our Penguins before heading off to the #Capybaras. Watch the episode here: bbc.co.uk/cbbc/joinin/bp-pab…
To celebrate #WorldRedPandaDay, it’s over to Mammal Keeper James for an update about our Red Pandas, Wing and Millie, as they enjoy their morning bamboo.
Happy World #RedPanda Day from all of us at the Park. Thanks to Education & Activities Officer Lorah for the video.

I went out with me cornflake box and colander held steady,
I couldn’t buy the glasses, they had all sold out already,
I gathered my equipment and I pointed it to heaven,
Never saw a thing, I’ll wait till 2027.
SUMMER COOLING SPECIALS: If you're visiting the Park during the summer holidays, be sure to try our brand-new range of refreshing seasonal treats: Coolers, sundaes and #matcha drinks. Treat yourself to one of our summer specials & enjoy a refreshing break during your next visit.
