Here is the new forecast that runs from 10-18-2026 through 2-28-2027. First, the "good" news: the peak is around the new year and is just under 900,000 NDIs. And now, the bad news: this period accounts for nearly 100,000,000 new infections. It stays elevated at roughly 700,000.

Thread: This would be a disaster if Holy Redeemer hospital has to close. I have lived here for 36 years we can not afford to lose another hospital in this area.

During busy periods wait times at these 2 hospitals for the ER are already long. Hospital diverts will become more common if Holy Redeemer hospital closes. Ambulances will have to take patients outside the area I highlighted on the map. to other hospitals which are already busy.
