Hey! Check it out!
BEHIND THE STORIES
Not only a terrific crime story by @WhiskeyLeavins , it’s about what happens after the crowd stops cheering.
That’s an incredibly Zevon-like idea & it makes Boom Boom Mancini one of the anthology’s most quietly affecting stories.

Patty may be fake, but you know what’s not? My weird horror Bigfoot novella, Wildcat Thicket, out now from @InfestedPub!

Boom! MARKETING!
The iconic Bigfoot video from 1967 is officially confirmed to be a hoax after new archival footage was found for an upcoming documentary.

Do you find mirrors creepy? Sometimes I'm afraid to look in one. I don't know what I might see staring back.
Eleanor finds a strange face reflected back when she goes into her dressing room in Suffer Their Going!
Only 2 days to go to find out who is watching her.

It's the perfect time of year to snuggle up with a copy of FORMULATION. Load it onto your e-reader, or pick up a paperback to decorate your bookshelf this Halloween.
Some love it, some hate it, and that’s fine with me.
But YOU, I feel, will love it!

31 Days of Halloween: Mill of the Stone Women (1960). Professor Wahl has a windmill converted into a carousel of waxwork statues of murderous women. And he does some mad science on the side. Shades of House of Wax. First Italian horror film made in color.

31 Days of Halloween: Night of the Damned (1971). A journalist takes his wife to visit an old friend who is strange, lives in a French castle, & suffers madness. When he dies, this Italian gothic really gets going. Skulls & torches & crypts & mist & murders & witchery afoot.

31 Days of Halloween: The Hound of the Baskervilles (1959). Hammer’s take on the Holmes classic, with the team of Fisher, Cushing, & Lee. A number of liberties with the plot & characters, adding class anger, making Sir Henry surlier, making Dr. Mortimer hostile, etc. Still great.

I’ve been looking forward to this book since Coy announced the concept. I can’t believe release day is finally almost here!
I submitted Devilry in Godling Wood: A Medieval Horror to Sentinel Creatives in Aug 2025. Now, 14 months later, we’re a week away from the novel’s release. I’m excited & nervous about it. I’d be grateful for any help spreading the word. It means the world to me.
