🇰🇵 TRM Labs and Chainalysis say North Korea's TraderTraitor is behind the $6.3B Binance hack, the same unit the FBI tied to Bybit. The link: Binance and Bitget exploit funds met in one wallet. Binance hasn't named anyone. cryptocoinshow.com/binance-h…

🛑 Aave (@aave) froze 292 markets across V3 and V4 after the Binance attacker used it as an exit. The hacker deposited 60M $USDT and borrowed 19,762 WETH (~$44.6M) in 4 minutes. Lenders are safe: the position is still overcollateralized.

🧊 About $3B of the $6.3B Binance haul is now frozen. - Tether (@Tether_to): $1.5B+ USDT - Circle (@circle): $800M+ USDC - Ripple: RLUSD, up to ~$200M - World Liberty: $27M USD1 - Arbitrum: $30.5M Nothing recovered yet. cryptocoinshow.com/binance-h…

Is it North Korea behind the $6.3B @binance hack? Here's what everyone's saying: - @trmlabs: TraderTraitor, North Korea's elite hacking unit, "high confidence" - @chainalysis: likely TraderTraitor, Binance funds mixed with proceeds from last month's Bitget exploit - @zachxbt: "likely Lazarus" - @elliptic: also points to North Korea - Binance: hasn't named anyone, working with law enforcement - FBI: no statement yet The pattern matches Bybit: Tornado Cash funded wallets, staging before the theft, signatures executed in one burst. Not everyone's convinced. One investigator noted this attacker laundered slower than North Korean crews usually do. After Bybit, the FBI named TraderTraitor within 5 days. That's the confirmation we are watching for.

About $5.6B just left @binance hot wallets across Ethereum, Bitcoin and Tron. If it's confirmed as a hack, it's the largest in crypto history: - ~$3.5B on Ethereum, incl. ~167K $ETH and ~$1.6B $USDT - ~$1.44B in $BTC (~18,270 BTC) - ~$630M on Tron - @Tether_to and @circle froze ~$1.8B within hours - More than 3x the Bybit hack ($1.5B, Feb 2025) Binance says it's investigating. @cz_binance says user funds are safe.

Binance says $2.54B of the hacked funds is now frozen. This includes: - @Tether_to: $1.567B+ $USDT - @circle: ~$823M $USDC - @Ripple: ~$200M $RLUSD - @worldlibertyfi: $27M $USD1 - @Paxos: $8M+ in $PAXG That's roughly half the ~$5.6B taken, stopped within hours. It's a win against bad actors. It's also a reminder that the assets now carrying most of crypto's volume can be frozen on demand by a handful of companies. The attacker's move: rotating into $ETH, which nobody can freeze, and probably into $BTC if they can. Stablecoins are making crypto safer and more usable. They're also making it less decentralized.

Most stablecoin launches beg you to hold the token. When I asked @BurntBanksy why anyone should hold $verUSD, he told me not to. What @verona_dev is building instead: - A dollar built for AI agents paying for verified data - The goal is for the stablecoin to be invisible. You just see dollars - $100M+ in launch commitments, $60M+ of it signed revenue set to flow through verUSD - His prediction: big brands, even Starbucks, will launch their own Anthony, which brand moves first? cryptocoinshow.com/interview…

Islamic finance is a $6 trillion market, and its institutions, funds and family offices usually need a scholar's approval before they hold anything. How many coins have one? Bitcoin's rulings contradict each other. Ethereum's came before proof of stake. Epic Cash has a signed certificate from Dr. Mohamed Ali Elgari. @EpicCashTech is the only crypto in the world that has a fatwa, is proof of work, fixed supply and private by default. @CryptoCoinShow covers it 👇 cryptocoinshow.com/epic-cash…
