The CEO of United Airlines said this in the NYTimes this morning:
(but the headline they ran was: United’s C.E.O. Says It Should Cost More Not to Sit in the Middle Seat)

Using the @AllSidesNow Media Bias sorting of media outlets, here's how how many official e-newsletters members of Congress have sent referencing different news sources form 2010-2025:
Back in 2022 Congressional Republicans were a lot more focused on "diesel" in official congressional e-newsletters than they are now.
In 2022 diesel got to ~ $5.82 per gallon.
Today it's ~ $6.53 per gallon.
Today I am teaching 3 classes then heading up to Michigan Tech to give a talk tomorrow. On Thursday, I’m giving a talk in Pennington, NJ. On Friday I’m heading back to Kansas to speak at the Kansas Book Festival.

A local leader in Delaware took my most recent book and organized a series of 5 free teaching events around it that he plans to lead over the next few months with the @braverangels Delaware Alliance.
More details are here:
Congressional Republicans have really been leaning into casework over the past two years.
Here's the frequency of "constituents navigate" in official e-news, as in "helping constituents navigate federal..."
From 2020-2025 Congressional Republicans told constituents that Democrats were saying and trying to "defund the police" more than 200x the amount of times Democrats actually said the phrase in official congressional e-newsletters.
This looks like it is the first time in the last 15 years that congressional Democrats have written about Iran more than congressional Republicans to constituents.
I had such a fun conversation with
@coreysnathan on Talkin‘ Politics & Religion Without Killin‘ Each Other.

A colleague of mine nominated me to be interviewed by part of the @America250 American Stories and I just did it :)

I know I usually post congressional comms graphs here, but I also wrote a book that I really like.
When I opened my mail last night I got a pretty neat surprise about that book:
Congressional Republicans (especially the men of the party) are far more likely to host their own podcasts, go on other podcasts, and talk about podcasts in their official constituents communications than Democrats -
this is a key part of our politics that is under understood.
"Radical transparency" 4 from Rs, 2 from Ds
"Small ‘d’ democracy" never
"Barriers to participation" 6 e-newsletters, 5 from Ds
"Stakeholders" this is 2:1 Republicans: Democrats
