This is how we organize!
I’ll put it this way — if you have a tight-knit ANYTHING
• friend group
• church
• neighborhood
• workplace
• school
• arts community
Those are the most likely areas of your life that can become more organized and coordinated, with political study & action

Trauma did NOT make you stronger.
It changed the structure and function of your brain, put you at risk for hormone imbalance + chronic pain, made it hard to discern between calm + chaos.
Let’s not glorify trauma.
Let’s GET REAL about healing:
It. Is. Possible. XO, Dr. Jen

👉🏾Our REBUILD program provides FREE therapy for folks detained by ICE. Spread the word, and donate to help us keep it going: bit.ly/DRPGives
Not a single person will be reimbursed for the damage done by ICE in Chicago.
Not a single therapy offer to deal with the trauma of the raids.
Not a single right will be restored.
Not a single family will be unbroken.
Not a single child left unscarred.
This is America.
