Corner Country grazier, few sheep and cattle, NSW Riverina, bit of amateur cropping.

Milparinka / Booroorban
Western Riverina is dry. Even drier without much irrigation water. Wanganella, halfway between the two biggest rivers in NSW.

Mutawinji NP. Lot smoother up here than down there.

I didn’t mind listening to this @GusWhyte . Was thinking though, when someone asks if we’re destocking, maybe just say “no we’re fully stock- given the conditions”..🤔 open.spotify.com/episode/1pD…

Clearing fence lines for replacement. Old wood & bull wire line could be late 19th century, 5 wire suspension fence was 1980’s, I wonder when this will need full replacement.

Took the old Kaiser 6x6 prime mover out for a job. Luxury trucking, room for 3 and fully air conditioned.

Experienced racer brought an electric bike to Tibooburra Bikekhana. Pretty impressive against the big guns, a lotta torque and power. Too quiet for mustering though!

I don’t think the comments are reflecting Stephen’s opinion.
I bought a coffee today: Usually $5.50 plus 7 cents surcharge Today $5.50 no surcharge My total down 1.1% The big winner ... lower inflation!

Sounds a bit drastic. Better sell everything and buy a dugout in White Cliffs.

People love to rave about Henry Fords decision to increase workers wages, but conveniently forget the conditions it came with.
In 1914, Henry Ford doubled wages to $5/day. To qualify, workers had to let Ford’s “Sociological Department” make unannounced visits to workers' homes to inspect their hygiene, finances, marriages, gambling and drinking habits. Those deemed “unwholesome” were paid less.

Looks like plane wasn’t moving. 28 knot headwind has that effect. Plenty of time to look around anyway.

My mates up home in the semi desert country often say it’d be easy on the irrigation.. Just turn on the tap they say.. Make it rain they say.. 😑
I really dislike irrigation. 🤬

I find large cities the most truly isolated places.
Watching Gogglebox last night. They were watching Back Roads, visiting Bordertown. All the comments I heard were “nothing there” & “boring”. I’m in Melbourne right now and my thoughts are lonely and disconnected. We are wired differently

BREAKING: During his speech today, Donald Trump recounted helping save Titanic victims: “I saved more people than anybody, many people, the best people. I said, ‘Turn left, Captain. Very simple. Very easy.’ He didn’t listen. I know icebergs. Nobody knows icebergs better than me.”

I block most new followers just on appearance, and random likes or comments and still reckon the majority of my 4482 “followers” are fake.
Don't think that a post is legit because it has 1000 likes. Don't think an account is legit because they have 10,000 followers. Engagement is cheap to purchase. Here are average market rates for 1000 social media interactions by platform. Remain sceptical!

Knowledgeable sheep people, is this possible or just a good aunty? Black head ewe, only one black lamb, three whites. No other sheep around, they stuck together, whichever way it went it’s good for the lambs.

The gibber country with its billions of little stones is pretty rough, but grading fence lines often leads to the fragile soil eroding. We roll the lines with a 7 tonne smooth drum to allow vehicle access and a smooth pad for the line. Works well in that country.
