Shallow vs Deep Depth of Field. Welcome back to this week's AI Creation Lab, where we're exploring Focus & Depth of Field. For this experiment, I created a suya street-food ad. A. Shallow Depth of Field :- the subject stays in focus while the busy street melts into the background. B. Deep Depth of Field :- the subject and surrounding environment stay much more in focus. Same scene. Different focus. Different way of experiencing the moment. Which one do you prefer A or B?
Why does your eye always know exactly where to look in a good shot? Sometimes, it's not the subject. It's the focus. This week on AI Creation Lab, we're exploring Focus & Depth of Field and how they control what the viewer notices first. I'll create two versions of the same scene using the exact same prompt. A. Shallow depth of field — the subject stays sharp while the background melts away. B. Deep depth of field — the subject and the environment stay sharp together. Same scene. Same prompt. Different focus. Let's see how much changing the depth of field can change the way we experience a scene. Which one would you choose for a cinematic shot, Shallow or Deep?

Some people will do everything in an argument except address the point you actually made. Red herring, it's when someone brings up another issue to distract you from the point you're making. For example, you ask someone, “Why didn't you pick my call?” and instead of answering, they respond with, “But we were texting all day yesterday?” Before you know it, you're arguing about something else entirely and your original point is still unanswered.

october dump init October was actually crazy, a lot changed in 31 days → received $5k from Gamdom 🥹 → moved from squatting with friends to getting my own apartment → flew on a plane for the first time 😭 → finally got my camera and upgraded my production setup → built my own workspace → got solar power installed → brought Gamdom Man from an idea to a real character, complete with the costume and mask → made my debut as Gamdom Man at Blockfest → met amazing people, made valuable connections and created new opportunities → took Gamdom to the streets, onboarded people and created fun moments with the community → made my frens money → got to see the support of the Gamdom team turn into real changes in my life and work → got broke after spending my first 10m plus😭😭 from having almost nothing to having a place of my own, a workspace, equipment and a bigger vision to chase still a long way to go, but i can’t lie, i’m proud of how far we’ve come grateful for everyone who played a part. this is only the beginning💚 Imagine I gave up in March wen life showed me shege 😭

There's a serious problem going on in CT right now. Some new projects host thread contests and video campaigns to get people to promote their projects, but in the end, most of them never announce winners or reward participants. And for the few that eventually announce winners, you'll sometimes find out that the winners are people from their teams or close friends. This is unfair to the creators who spend their time, energy, and resources participating in these campaigns. Something really needs to be done about this.
What if your data could be used for calculations without being revealed to the person performing them? That is the idea behind Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE). Let's use a simple example. Imagine a company needs to calculate the average salaries of its employees. The company needs the final result, but individual employees may not want their salaries exposed to whoever performs the calculation. With conventional approaches, protecting the information while processing it can be challenging. FHE offers another possibility. The data can remain encrypted while computations are performed on it. The authorised recipient can then decrypt the result, subject to how the system is designed. In simple terms, the calculation can happen without the person performing it needing to see the original information. Now, where does @primus_labs come in? Primus is developing zkFHE, which combines Fully Homomorphic Encryption with zero-knowledge proof techniques. The goal is not only to compute on encrypted information but also to provide cryptographic evidence that the computation was carried out correctly. Why does that distinction matter? Keeping data encrypted addresses confidentiality. Verifying the computation addresses a different concern: whether the result was produced correctly. Both are important when applications need to work with sensitive information. Consider potential applications in finance, where a service may need to calculate results using private financial data, or in AI, where sensitive inputs may need to be processed without being exposed unnecessarily. These are examples of where privacy-preserving computation could be useful, not claims that every such application is already deployed by Primus. There are still technical challenges to consider, including computational costs, performance, and how encryption keys and verification are handled. Nevertheless, the principle is worth understanding. Privacy shouldn't always require data to remain completely unusable. With technologies such as zkFHE, the goal is to make protected information useful for computation while providing ways to verify the work being done. That's an important part of what Primus is working towards. If applications could process your sensitive data without directly accessing it, which would matter more to you: keeping the data private or being able to verify the result? Receiving information and knowing it's authentic are two different things. Think about that for a moment. Someone could send you a screenshot showing their account balance, trading history, or online credentials. The information might look convincing. But how do you know it hasn't been altered? This is a challenge for applications that rely on data from outside their blockchain. Blockchains can verify transactions recorded on-chain, but information originating from websites and other off-chain sources presents a different challenge. An application needs a reliable way to establish where the information came from and whether it has been changed. Without that, decisions could be based on information that only appears trustworthy. Consider a prediction market that uses information from an external platform. If the application cannot reliably verify the source of that information, its decisions may depend on data that has not been properly authenticated. This is where cryptographic verification becomes useful. Rather than relying entirely on screenshots, manual checks, or a user's word, applications can use cryptographic evidence to verify specific information. @primus_labs is working on this problem through its zkTLS technology. Its approach allows applications to verify the authenticity of data obtained through web connections while helping protect the underlying information. This distinction matters. Privacy protects information from unnecessary exposure. Verification helps establish whether that information can be trusted. Neither replaces the other. Private information without reliable verification may be difficult for an application to use confidently. Verified information without appropriate privacy protections may expose details that should remain confidential. Bringing these two goals together could help developers build applications that make better-informed decisions without demanding unnecessary access to users' data. Of course, cryptographic verification does not automatically make every statement true. The source, the verification rules, and the way an application interprets the evidence still matter. The goal is to establish what can actually be proven instead of relying on appearances alone. That's an important distinction as more financial applications and AI agents begin using information from different sources. When an application makes an important decision about you, would you rather it rely on information you provide or require verifiable evidence to support it? Join me here: s.kaito.ai/iIn9QZI

here's something that'll mess with your head the algorithm rewards content people can't help but react to some of the best, most useful posts get ignored some of the dumbest, most chaotic posts blow up your job isn't to make "good" content. it's to make content people physically can't scroll past good and scroll-stopping are different skills so master both. how best do you make people stop to reply I wanna learn from you
