If you listen carefully it’s a misplaced anger at his own parents for not making him feel worthy that turned into raging jealousy of other children who had parents that lifted them up and poured into them. He’s projected all of that onto white people. He needs to mend his heart before thinking about running for any office. White ppl haven’t hurt him. He knows exactly who did. Notice how he doesn’t get the satisfaction he was craving when the interviewer simply anchors himself & doesn’t validate that experience. We should all do more of this. Don’t validate anyone’s experience for the sake of temporary bonding.

Great to sit down with MP Parm Bains today at Himalaya Restaurant in the heart of the Punjabi Market. Parm and I have known each other for years, and today was about rolling up our sleeves and finding where our two levels of government can work together for the people of Vancouver-Langara. Over a good meal and a cup of chai, we talked about the Build Communities Strong Fund, strengthening the supply chain corridor along the south end of the riding, and housing. Parm’s deep roots in this neighbourhood make him a valuable partner, and I’m grateful for his time and insight. My door is open to anyone and everyone who wants to work together to deliver for this community. Now let’s build B.C.

A new poll on immigration from the Environics Institute finds that first-generation Canadians and non-white Canadians have stronger opinions against immigration than white Canadians and third-generation+ Canadians. 63% of first-generation Canadians and 60% of non-white Canadians think too many immigrants are not adopting Canadian values. 57% of first-generation Canadians and 54% of non-white Canadians think that many refugee claimants are fake.

Since many seem confused. Centre-right parties have governed BC for 52 of the past 74 years. The NDP? About 22. Whatever your political views stop acting like BC has historically been a left-wing stronghold. Perhaps get out of your bubble and talk to some other people. Because you know what it’s okay to have friends and families that share different political views from you. It’s strange that some of you don’t.

Frankly disgusting… does Emily Lowan of the #Green party not realize the vast majority of British Columbians have spoken. She is more out of touch as her speech goes on with lies and activist fantasy. You can be sure that the media will give her far more coverage over the coming years than she deserves.
