I can't explain it but when I was first playing mgs2, this scene was what really made me love Snake. The way he immediately rushes to Emma the second he notices she's injuried, the way he takes down the drones in just one shot without thinking, THE SHEER URGENCY IN HIS EVERY MOVE

Also listening closer to the Stillness ending audio it feels to me he just let the car drive off and stayed behind. At least they give the same kind of interpretative quality as the OG endings

Looked up the new endings, and they're surprisingly good? Bliss and Stillness add some cool alternatives that feel in line with James' character and the paths laid before him.
Finished Silent Hill 2 Remake. There's some genuinely good parts about it esp. the visuals and atmosphere of the game but it's simply too fucking long. Being twice the length as the original is heinous and turns a classic into a painful slog. SH can't sustain being 15+ hours
