People say that they are disappointed that they dont own a house at this age but I definitely thought I'd have an NTS show by now.
(a house would be cool too, I'm sure).

I also got these, be careful out there. Report for phishing
@Bandcamp I received 8 bandcamp messages this morning from agentbc@gmail posing as bandcamp support. Obviously I didn’t click the links. I’m sure you know already, but the scammers have hit our beloved independent music platform.

Talking Heads - “Once In A Lifetime”
Brian Eno borrows Fela Kuti's and Tony Allen's rhythmic genius for Talking Heads’ most enigmatic Song.
When I first heard the Talking Heads classic “Once In A Lifetime” (1981), I immediately knew that it would have a profound effect on me musically (and culturally). Although at that time I’d only had some minimal familiarity with African multiple rhythmic styles, I hadn’t yet gotten into Fela Kuti, the towering Nigerian figure and creator of Afrobeat. So hearing “Once In A Lifetime” was like being smacked with five walls of rhythm, all at once.
Also, “Once In A Lifetime” is one of those examples of when musical borders collide beautifully.

Still think it's crazy all the soundcloud og's racking up millions of plays and comments prior to 2016 can't see stats prior to 2016 and despite 90% us having 10k+ followers 90% of us been reaching like 0.01% of those followers since 2016, everyone really dip? or what?
Doesn't matter what I post these days on this app, I'm just outputting into a void so no need to a_void posting actual links I guess. Finally got this uploaded to Soundcloud.
crazy how much changed in just 3 years.

Anyone who had their music deleted by Distrokid got a response from them?
If so, I'm curious what the justification / reason was?
It's pretty dystopian if the sudden reason is sample clearance being they are responsible for 90% of GEN A.I. flooding these platforms haha
The Replies / Quotes are 💀
Distrokid wasn't / isn't my only DSP
I've been DTC for Decades
The Problem is Systematic & bigger than one DSP and I just don't want to participate in it

Consistency has no value, and now even those willing to compromise and pivot to content farm, what's actually being achieved on that quest for "success" or growth, when you have the data available these platforms don't even show that content to the audience you already have?

Captured the ripple effect of big tech's live service forced updates breaking things that wouldn't be broken if these updates weren't forced.
The intro to the video is actually the end... The rest was captured prior to critical error. This Project didn't save.
nothing works

I've spent the past 3 hours, Re-uploading audio and thumbnail, filling out tags, meta data, description, and everytime soundcloud gives an error message about the artwork and erases the whole page. 8 different times, 8 different thumbnails all in spec. why does nothing work

I miss monoculture this shit sucks. The good thing about mono culture was it still allowed for sub-cultures, but it also gave us at least one major platform to relate to eachother. Now nobody got SHIT in common with eachother
