Held a press conference with @GovArmstrong, @EnergyUnderSec Kyle Haustveit, @NDPetroleum, and Chord Energy to outline the next phase of Crack the Code 2.0. Phase one is well underway, but we’re not going to stop there. We’re bringing together industry partners to increase oil production by moving from individuals wells to EOR in a whole oil field, provide additional revenue streams for our coal producers, develop domestic sources of rare earth elements and increase fertilizer production. That’s a win-win-win-win.

For over a century, Chevron’s El Segundo Refinery has helped meet Southern California’s energy needs—processing up to 290,000 barrels of crude oil daily. The facility’s scale, technology, and workforce demonstrate the foundation for affordable, reliable, and secure energy.
