According to Bezmenov, the four stages of ideological subversion are demoralization, destabilization, crisis, and normalization.
Where are we in the West?
NORWAY is still mostly in the first stage: demoralization. The moral inversion is deeply embedded in schools, media, and elite language. They treat Norwegianness as a set of progressive values rather than kinship, language, and place. Origin-based crime and parallel norms are growing, but the high-trust baseline and strong fiscal position ensure stability. The state is largely functional.
The UNITED STATES is further into the next phase: destabilization. Polarized antagonisms, elective enforcement, and a mainstream media that sees half the country as illegitimate. Urban breakdowns appear and fade in intervals. The federal structure and private capacity prevents full crisis for now.
FRANCE sits closest to the third phase: late destabilization with early crisis features. Large non-assimilating populations, recurring violence, no-go dynamics. Political fragmentation makes order hard to maintain. Institutions still exist at the national level, but are increasingly nominal in significant areas. The UNITED KINGDOM is nearing a similar position.
In EUROPE as a whole, demoralization is more or less complete across most WESTERN and NORTHERN states. Destabilization in each country is broadly proportionate to immigration volume and assimilation failure. EASTERN EUROPE is at an earlier stage, with signs of demoralization in some countries. Continent-wide crisis has not yet arrived, but the centrifugal forces at work are clearly visible.
Note that subversion is an active process, not destiny. It can be interrupted and reversed.
More on that in my next post.
Subversion: 15 Min Edition
Demoralization: Instill an inverted moral framework that cons people into willingly subverting and ultimately sublating their own civilization; they then capture its institutions from within and reproduce that worldview across successive generations.
Destabilization: Put that framework into practice, mobilizing people along shifting lines of social antagonism, radicalizing conflicts, and undermining institutional stability toward crisis.
Crisis: Escalate internal conflict until established authority breaks down, creating conditions for revolution, civil war, or foreign intervention.
Normalization: Consolidate a new authoritarian order, institutionalize its leadership and ideology, suppress and purge the revolutionary change agents.
