What would you do for the ones you love? @Evan_Scale

⚡ Unpopular Horror Opinion: The best horror stories... aren't about surviving the monster. They're about what surviving costs you. The scars. The guilt. The grief. The people you couldn't save. That's the kind of story I wanted to tell with VEILED LEGACY. Because sometimes the monster isn't the thing that changes you... It's living through it. ✍️ Written & Created by: Dani Soncasie 📖 Edited by: @Rippalorian 🎨 Art by: @Evan_Scale 🩸 Back the campaign: fundmycomic.com/campaign/952… #VeiledLegacy #MidwestGothic #HorrorComics #GraphicNovel #IndieComics #HorrorCommunity #Storytelling

🌽 The Midwest has a strange kind of silence. Not city silence. Not forest silence. Neighborhood silence. The kind where every porch light is on... ...but nobody's home. That feeling inspired Midwest Gothic. Sometimes the scariest places... are the ones you've driven through a thousand times. Have you ever been somewhere that just felt wrong? 👇 ✍️ Written & Created by: Dani Soncasie 📖 Edited by: @Rippalorian 🎨 Art by: @Evan_Scale 🩸 Back the campaign: fundmycomic.com/campaign/952… #MidwestGothic #VeiledLegacy #Horror #SmallTownHorror #IndieComics #GraphicNovel #Creepy

This picture wasn't always covered in blood. It was taken on a normal day. Before monsters came. Before a family was destroyed. Before Emma Hogan discovered some nightmares don't end when the sun comes up. Sometimes horror isn't about ghosts. Sometimes it's about losing everything. 🩸 VEILED LEGACY: Book 1 | Midwest Gothic Back the campaign: fundmycomic.com/campaign/952… Written & Created by Dani Soncasie Edited by @Rippalorian Art by @Evan_Scale #VeiledLegacy #MidwestGothic #HorrorComics #IndieComics #GraphicNovel

🩸 Emma Hogan survived the night her family was slaughtered. But survival doesn't mean you're safe. It doesn't mean you're whole. And it certainly doesn't mean the nightmare is over. Because while Emma is drowning in grief, something impossible is awakening inside her. ⚡ Something she doesn't understand. Something she can't control. And something that may be far more dangerous than she realizes. 🌙 VEILED LEGACY: BOOK 1 - MIDWEST GOTHIC A story about vampires, family, grief, survival... and the terrible things we inherit. July 11, 2022, was an incredible day. @EricDJuly asked me to take the day off to help with "something he was launching." None of us knew just how much that day would change our lives. You all know Eric works hard, but it's difficult to put into words just how much goes on behind the scenes. He's constantly researching, learning, building, and looking for ways to make @TheRippaverse stronger so we can continue creating stories that are worthy of your time, attention, and investment. And he's only getting started. I'm incredibly honored that Eric has trusted me to help build the team and world within the Rippaverse. Being given the opportunity to write characters like Cedric and Yaira is something I'll never take for granted. And the trust for something new like Dirty Deeds! Along the way, I've had the privilege of working alongside immensely talented creators whose passion pushes me to become a better writer and storyteller every day. We have so much in the pipeline, and I genuinely can't wait for you to experience what's coming next. Most importantly, thank you. None of this exists without you. Your support, your excitement, your feedback, and your belief in what we're building have made Rippaverse what it is today. Thank you for being part of this journey, and here's to everything still ahead.

Finishing a first draft is an accomplishment. Publishing a great book takes another step. Editing is where structure, pacing, dialogue, and character all come together. If you're looking for someone to help polish your manuscript without losing your voice, I'm currently accepting new clients. My DMs are open.

Every writer has blind spots. Mine do too. That's why editors exist—not to tell you what to write, but to help you see what you've become too close to notice. I'm currently accepting new editing clients. If you'd like to talk about your project, send me a DM.

The mass print editions of these Rippaverse titles are still available while supplies last. 📚 Smuggler's Stitch ❄️ Yaira: Frost & Ruin 🚀 Dirty Deeds: Jail Break 💥 Dirty Deeds #1 Which one are you picking up first?

I hope you all come to love this crew as I do.

I've spent years working with writers across comics, novels, children's books, and publishing. My focus is always the same: • Stronger storytelling • Clearer character arcs • Better pacing • Cleaner prose If you're looking for an editor who will give honest, actionable feedback, I'm accepting new clients. Feel free to DM me.

Finally! 🥳 It’s here! 😁 I’m excited and looking forward to reading it and enjoying the amazing illustrations. 👏 Thanks to @Rippalorian @TheRippaverse @EricDJuly @Evan_Scale 🙏💜🧚🏻‍♀️

If you enjoyed Dirty Deeds No. 1, the next disaster is already waiting. Pre-orders for Dirty Deeds No. 2 are open now. Stranded, desperate, and running out of options, the crew faces a choice: drift until they die or take a dangerous job from an old enemy. Neither option sounds particularly smart. Fortunately, being smart has never been their specialty.
