Don’t take the summer transfer rumours seriously. We get them every autumn.
Personally, I also don’t think Pedro Porro is the best solution. His biggest weakness is defending, especially in 1v1 situations, while Flick prefers a more defensively solid profile behind Lamine.
The Lamine-Porro combination worked at the World Cup, but Lamine also worked hard defensively, and we can’t expect him to do that every game at Barça.
And for me Porro also overperformed at the World cup.

Lisandro Martínez makes no sense. We need a tall, aerially dominant CB who can compensate for Cubarsí’s weaknesses, not another similiar profile…
Inter would never sell Bastoni mid-season unless we offered at least €80m+.
Gvardiol just signed a new contract in the summer.
We’d have to overpay a lot for Natan, and there’s a high risk he wouldn’t improve our defense by much. Still, he’s the most realistic option out of everyone mentioned.
Signing someone just for the sake of it isn’t the solution. We failed to sign a CB in the summer, and now we’re paying for it. The winter window rarely offers good options, and when it does, you have to overpay.
Schlotterbeck will have a €55m release clause in the summer, and there should be other better opportunities on the market too…
