📍 Second stop: Naples, Collier County!
The Florida Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with
@FLACommerce , continued our 2026 Coolest Thing Made in Florida Final Two Manufacturing Tours at
@Arthrex during National Manufacturing Month!
Our visit offered an inside look at the innovation behind the TightRope® PRO implant and the people, precision and technology fulfilling their mission of Helping Surgeons Treat Their Patients Better® around the world.
With more than 4,400 employees across three sites in Florida, including more than 2,100 in manufacturing in Southwest Florida, Arthrex showcases the careers and economic opportunity created by Florida manufacturers.
⚙️ We heard from:
• Reinhold Schmieding, President & Founder, Arthrex
• Mark Wilson, President & CEO, Florida Chamber of Commerce
• Jason Mahon, Chief Manufacturing Officer & Deputy Secretary of Economic Development, FloridaCommerce, through recorded remarks while supporting hurricane recovery efforts in the Panhandle
We also appreciated joining Michael Wynn, President of Sunshine Ace Hardware, Florida Chamber Board member and Southwest Florida Regional Chair; Dr. Aysegul Timur, President of Florida Gulf Coast University and Florida Chamber Foundation Trustee; and representatives from the offices of U.S. Senator Rick Scott and State Representative Yvette Benarroch.
Thank you to the entire Arthrex team for opening your doors and showcasing the innovation being made right here in Southwest Florida!
🗳️ The final matchup is underway! Arthrex’s TightRope® PRO implant from Collier County and Northrop Grumman’s E-2D Advanced Hawkeye from St. Johns County are competing for this year’s title.
