Below you can find our @FOP7Chicago endorsement. Our endorsements have nothing to do with party affiliation, but rather are based on one single consideration: who will help represent our members’ needs and concerns the best and most effectively. Your support is appreciated.

Twenty-five years later, the sacrifice of 9/11’s first responders is still being felt. Thousands of firefighters, police officers, EMS personnel, workers, and residents were exposed to toxic air at Ground Zero. Many survived that day, only to face serious health consequences years later. For the men and women who ran toward the danger, September 11 didn’t end when the towers fell. The impact followed them home. We remember those who were lost that day. We also remember those who continued to fight long after. 9/11 is part of our history, but for many first responders and their families, it is still a reality. #NeverForget #September11 #FirstResponders #FDNY #FOPStrong Credit: @armyofnormalfolks & @iamcoachbill Used for informational purposes.

I want to thank the officers who worked tirelessly to catch this offender. This memorial was displayed in the West Lawn neighborhood to honor the sacrifices of officers who called this area home. This offender snuck into this community under the cover of night to stain their legacy. Instead, the community came together, worked with investigators, and showed the officers’ families who still call this area home that we stand with them. @CPD_Media @TAhern_ @cpdmemorial @ChicagoCAPS08 @cpdsoccer @FOP7Chicago @cookcountysao @Chicago_Police @CookCoCrimeSto2

A mural paying tribute to three Chicago Police Officers at 6805 South Pulaski has been defaced. The three depicted her — Ofcs. Luis Huesca, Andres Vasquez Lasso, Enrique Martinez — all died serving Chicago. All three men were mercilessly gunned down by violent, armed goons, yet their images are marred with graffiti. The person who did this is pure scum.
