This I will maintain until the day I die. The Sega/Sonic trophy awarded to Ayerton Senna after he won the 1993 European Grand Prix (Donington) is the coolest trophy of all time, period. #f1

Dude hasn't competed in a NASCAR race (ARCA included) since what, May? Not like he had a ton of experience prior to that, yet he can just show up to the biggest track on the schedule and give it a go? Only a matter of time before NASCAR ends up getting someone seriously hurt with this nonsense. Guess what, legitimacy is more important in the long run than a brief boost in viewership.
"It just sucks." Cleetus McFarlard was hoping for a better end at @TALLADEGA.

Here we go again. Can we stop throwing inexperienced influencers in race vehicles already simply because they draw a crowd?
Stage 1 comes to an end early due to incident. Several trucks including the No. 4 of Cleetus McFarland and the No. 25 of Tony Stewart are involved.

Wet weather inbound! 🌧️ Practice day complete here in Zhejiang, but with rain rolling in and scheduled to remain for the rest of the weekend, it adds another twist for the drivers to tackle at this tight and twisty mountain-side circuit #fiatcrworldtour

A bit of a niche throwback for you, as 25 years ago today I finished the Tour de Corse rally in 5th place - my best result on tarmac at the time, and possibly my strongest performance so far, I remember being very, very happy at the end! 💪🏼 Also memorable as we actually finished 4th but intentionally got a time penalty to allow our teammate Richard Burns in front to give him some more points - which ended up crucial in his title fight as he became WRC Champion that year! 🏆

Brace yourselves folks, because here comes some cold hard facts and I don't care who gets a tummy ache reading it. The Gen 4 was/is the gold standard in Nascar, by a country mile. Same goes for the correlating generation of Busch car. Everything prior to that is fighting for second place. Everything after that (Cup) belongs in a garbage bin somewhere.

I’ve downsized quite a bit, but I couldn’t resist this little trinket. It’s a program from Bobby Allison’s 1971 Bowman Gray win … his infamous long-missing 85th victory.

Since we are on the subject, here's a little known fact about @WPD500. In 2001, Petty Enterprises asked Wally to qualify the #44 at Watkins Glen. Buckshot was having some problems with road courses and they had already missed the show at Sonoma. However, Petty Enterprises as a whole was struggling in 2001, as Kyle Petty missed a bunch of races and the 43 (aside from the fall Bristol race and one or two others) struggled as well. So, Dallenbach/Jones didn't make the race at the Glen unfortunately. My useless tidbit for the day 🤙
