Yesterday I was delighted to run my first remote @figmadesign education workshop with the @ixd_ncad 2nd and 3rd year students in @NCAD_Dublin. The workshops are part of a series to onboard students into #designtools and educate them about #uidesign and #prototyping . 👩💻 #figma

Pocket sketchbook, June 2022 — drawing every day, mostly local London scenes, including some studies for the book of drawings I’m working on (sign up to my newsletter if interested), plus some flowers… they never fail to brighten the day :)

Spacing is hard to get right!
This can be easier when thinking about parent/child element context
Setting container spacing as a benchmark, then setting the distance between our elements to 50% of that, it generally feels about right*
24px container spacing = 12px distance📏

Excited to (finally) release dark mode in @figma .
Behind the scenes, making this happen required some significant changes to our color system. For more about how it works, @pwnies and I are giving a talk about the new system at Config!
