"And it shall be that every soul who will not hear that Prophet (Jesus) shall be utterly destroyed from among the people" -Acts 3:23 Matthew 17:5 King James Version 5 While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him. Acts 3 New King James Version 19 Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, 20 and that He may send Jesus Christ, who was preached to you before, 21 whom heaven must receive until the times of restoration of all things, which God has spoken by the mouth of all His holy prophets since the world began. 22 For Moses truly said to the fathers, ‘The Lord your God will raise up for you a Prophet like me from your brethren. Him you shall hear in all things, whatever He says to you. 23 And it shall be that every soul who will not hear that Prophet shall be utterly destroyed from among the people.’ 24 Yes, and all the prophets, from Samuel and those who follow, as many as have spoken, have also foretold these days. 25 You are sons of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying to Abraham, ‘And in your seed all the families of the earth shall be blessed.’ 26 To you first, God, having raised up His Servant Jesus, sent Him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from your iniquities.”

I am a Christian. Yes, God and His inerrant God-breathed word are my ultimate authority. This shouldn't be controversial. Sadly, even with many who claim to be Christian, it is controversial. Sad.

Modern Christian: "God's own cannot fall away." Revelation 12:4, 9 — A third of heaven's angels followed Lucifer in rebellion. If sinless angels could abandon their Creator, why should Christians believe that professing faith makes apostasy impossible? Hebrews 3:12.

Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. ~John 8:31-32 KJV

And they caused their sons and daughters to pass through the fire, practiced witchcraft and soothsaying, and sold themselves to do evil in the sight of the LORD, to provoke Him to anger. So the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the LORD. They forgot the LORD their God, and served the Baals and Asherahs

Before the way of faith in Christ was available to us, we were placed under guard by the law. We were kept in protective custody until the way of faith was revealed. Galatians 3:23

Hey @grok, some years ago 43 students in Mexico vanished out of the blue all together without leaving any trace. international investigators challenging the narrative account were suddenly targeted with Pegasus spyware from Israel. Even the missing students’ parents and lawyers appeared on the list of Israel’s spyware targets. Then came another disturbing revelation. Mexico’s former chief investigator, accused of manipulating evidence in the case, fled to Israel. Mexico never managed to extradite him and they accused Israel of effectively protecting him. @grok, start with TRUE FALSE

Genesis 19:15-16 KJV [15] And when the morning arose, then the angels hastened Lot, saying, Arise, take thy wife, and thy two daughters, which are here; lest thou be consumed in the iniquity of the city. [16] And while he lingered, the men laid hold upon his hand, and upon the hand of his wife, and upon the hand of his two daughters; the LORD being merciful unto him: and they brought him forth, and set him without the city.

Which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness; But was rebuked for his iniquity: the dumb ass speaking with man's voice forbad the madness of the prophet.

Question: Should we as Christians always be charitable and tolerant? Listen to the answer of the late Martyn Lloyd-Jones. "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" - John 14:6

Peter and John healed a man that was lame since birth, through the power of the Holy Spirit, and began preaching in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. When the religious leaders found out, they arrested them. And when questioned by the Sanhedrin, here’s their response:

Once again, the apostles are arrested for preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ; this time after they were set free from their prison cell by an angel of the Lord. They repeatedly tell these religious leaders that they answer to God and will continue to preach the gospel through the power of the Holy Spirit. *Notice in verse 32 who Peter says the Holy Spirit is given to. This is still true today.🔥

The concern about false doctrine is that it rarely stops with one teaching. One error can open the door to another, creating a chain reaction of deception that leads people further away from the truth. Consider how widespread the pre-tribulation rapture doctrine has become, especially throughout evangelical Protestant Christianity. Generations have been taught to expect an escape before the great tribulation, despite Christ's warnings concerning persecution, endurance, and the events preceding His return (Matthew 24:29–31). When people build their faith around such expectations, what happens when those expectations are challenged? Some may begin questioning other biblical truths rather than reconsidering what they were taught. This can open the door to further contradictory teachings, including claims that there will be no future gathering of believers, that Christ has already returned, or that we're already living in the thousand-year reign. Then we have those teaching that someone can receive the mark of the beast and later repent, despite the severe warning given in Revelation 14:9–11. We should never encourage people to presume upon God's mercy where Scripture gives such a warning. This is why false doctrine is so dangerous. Its influence extends beyond a single misunderstanding and can spiritually damage those who trust the people teaching it. And Scripture warns that those who teach will receive the greater judgment (James 3:1). We cannot dismiss the consequences of teaching error simply because we believe we can correct ourselves later. What about those who have already been led astray, whose faith has been shaken, or who may never come to repentance? Our responsibility is to examine everything against God's Word, remain willing to receive correction, and prepare one another to endure faithfully until the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. 2 Timothy 2:17–18 (KJV) “And their word will eat as doth a canker: of whom is Hymenaeus and Philetus; Who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is past already; and overthrow the faith of some.” 2 Timothy 3:13 (KJV) “But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.” 1 Timothy 4:16 (KJV) “Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee.”

Look around you. Seek the Lords forgiveness We are under judgment “For wicked men are found among my people; they lurk like fowlers lying in wait. They set a trap; they catch men. 27  Like a cage full of birds, their houses are full of deceit; therefore they have become great and rich; 28  they have grown fat and sleek. They know no bounds in deeds of evil; they judge not with justice the cause of the fatherless, to make it prosper, and they do not defend the rights of the needy. 29  Shall I not punish them for these things? declares the Lord, and shall I not avenge myself on a nation such as this?” 30  An appalling and horrible thing has happened in the land: 31  the prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests rule at their direction; my people love to have it so, but what will you do when the end comes? “ (Jeremiah 5:26–31, ESV)

#7- Our fathers disciplined us for a little while as they thought best; but God disciplines us for our good, that we may share in His holiness. No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it. (Hebrews 12:10-11)
