“That diversity becomes an advantage once businesses stop asking which stablecoin should win and start using each one for what it’s actually good at.” In a new op-ed for CFOTech Asia, our CEO @vchok looks at why dollar stablecoins hold about 99% of the market while more than 70% of conversions start from other currencies, and how one payment can move across several stablecoins from start to finish. “We will not be a stablecoin company; we’ll be a stablecoin infrastructure company.” At the Stablecoin Summit, @vchok spoke with AlphaWire about what comes next after last week’s Nasdaq BCA announcement. The plan is to grow beyond FDUSD into multi-stablecoin rails covering FX, settlement and agentic payments. Read the interview: alphawire.xyz/news/stablecoi…

Alice Truong of @Nuvei on agentic payments: much of the liability shifts to the payment processor, which decodes the intent passing between a user's agent and a merchant's agent. Nuvei is waiting for regulators to set out where that liability sits. Watch the full panel featuring: Hassan Ahmed (@Hassan_NY) of @coinbase, Vincent Chok (@vchok) of @FirstDigitalHQ, Jackie Zhang (@agaperste) of Bridge (@Stablecoin), and Francesco Andreoli (@francescoswiss) of @MetaMask.

Who should issue a won stablecoin, and what would make anyone use it over USD tokens? The Korea Herald pulled together views from Coinbase, Kaia, StraitsX, Hilbert Capital and our COO Gunnar Jaerv after last week's roundtable in Seoul. Worth a read if you're following Korea's stablecoin debate. koreaherald.com/article/1089…

Compliance works better when it's built into the rails instead of checked afterwards. At Institutional Privacy Day, @vchok joined @NewtonLabs and @zama to talk about how programmable rails and an authorization layer can make that work for regulated capital, with FDUSD reserves held separately by First Digital Trust, a licensed trust company.
Joined Panel 2 at Institutional Privacy Day in Seoul, "Compliance-Ready Infrastructure for Regulated Capital", with @NewtonLabs and @zama. The big shift is from reactive to proactive compliance. Instead of checking transactions after the fact, the rules sit in the rails. Counterparties are verified before money moves, the settlement asset is fully reserved, and the record is there whenever a regulator asks. Privacy and compliance don't have to pull against each other. Good to discuss with teams building both sides of it.

Wrapping up a few days in Seoul. Spoke at the National Assembly on compliance-ready infrastructure for regulated capital, then went on to The Bridge Summit 2026, where it was good to see a lot of familiar faces. Korea is moving on stablecoin regulation, and the conversations this week were practical. Thanks to @Bridge34__ and everyone who hosted us.

Agent-to-agent payments are already here. The open question is the infrastructure underneath. Catch our CEO @vchok on the Agentic Payments panel at Stablecoin Summit Singapore, 8 October.
Which agentic stablecoin payments already fit real enterprise workflows, and how does sub-cent, high-frequency volume reshape fee models built for humans? What happens to counterparty risk, settlement finality, and reconciliation when both sides of a transaction act autonomously? 1/ Banks are now interested in stablecoins. What sparked the interest? “Stablecoin transaction volume passed $28 trillion in the first quarter of 2026, settling on networks where banks have historically had limited control or participation. When money moves at that scale outside a bank’s control, it becomes difficult to ignore.” said @vchok, CEO of @FirstDigitalHQ

Our CEO Vincent Chok sat down with @JameDiBiasio on The J.DB Report to talk through the last two years properly — the FDUSD de-peg, what it forced us to rebuild, and why First Digital is now betting on Asia and emerging markets instead of trying to out-scale the big players. No spin, just the real story behind the headlines.
Most stablecoin conversations focus on the winners. Fewer focus on what it takes to keep going when the market turns. I joined @JameDiBiasio on The J.DB Report to talk about the last two years at First Digital, what it taught us, and why we rebuilt the business to prepare for a different market. The market has changed. Two years ago, there were a handful of serious stablecoin issuers. Today, there are dozens. That forces every issuer to answer a harder question: what are we actually useful for? Our answer is infrastructure. Serving Asian and emerging market users properly, building Finance District for agentic payments, and designing for security first, because in this business trust is the only thing that compounds. Global dollar stablecoin FDUSD meets KGLD. FDUSD, issued by First Digital(@FDLabsHQ), has recorded more than $2 trillion in cumulative trading volume since launch. KGLD is working with @FirstDigitalHQ to build onchain financial infrastructure connecting #FDUSD with #KGLD, a digital asset backed by physical gold. By connecting a dollar stablecoin with a physical gold-backed digital asset through compliance-focused infrastructure, the initiative aims to create a pathway for global investors to access digital gold and the RWA market, while connecting KGLD to global liquidity. A digital dollar with established global liquidity, connected to physical gold-backed KGLD. This marks another step toward KGLD’s expansion into the global RWA market. False allegations again. Our CEO sets the record straight.
Justin Sun is back with the same claims we have answered many times, and a few new ones. He says Binance delisted FDUSD. It did not. A few low-volume altcoin pairs were trimmed, as happens on every exchange. Dozens still trade today. He points to a drop in FDUSD. It came hours after his own targeted attack, and the peg was back the same day. FDUSD has honoured every redemption request on schedule, without exception. Every dollar sits in attested reserves, and we publish the holdings each month. Sixteen months on, still nothing. His story keeps shifting, but ours has not. This belongs in court, and we know what our records show.
