Average MW4 experience:

this 100% back in the days before SBMM it was actually pretty fun to run into a team of pubstomping gods because it was rare Now every game is just a neck & neck competition between you and a dozen other of your clones so it’s a lot of average games Back in the day it was a thrill to get absolutely wrecked by a solid team the turn it around next game and drop a 90 kill game But it seems that’s all in the past now. Good times good times

Remember when @InfinityWard claimed they were going to do a better job at listening to player feedback? Well, this just happened all while consistent online sentiment shows that the majority of the playerbase wants a PvE-only option for DMZ. I’m done with DMZ at this point and the mode will unfortunately waste all of its incredible potential without such a change. There’s this weird concept about SBMM from low skill players that makes them think every game would be an absolutely stomping by the good players. The actual reality is that without SBMM in CoD you actually get more variety and a lot more wins simply based off of the amount of good & bad players in game. Now the truth is when you do run into very good players you will get stomped worse than the 200-199 domination games that you get nowadays. But luckily running into good players is still very rare and will probably only happen 1/10 lobbies whereas the rest will actually be having fun matches SBMM has tricked players who want to have fun into thinking that SBMM contributes to that when in actuality it very obviously takes away from the fun. less sbmm= more variety = more fun high kill matches with occasional run ins with boss level players more sbmm= less variety = everyone plays like you = more consistent games but less fun overall open your eyes my friend
