From building Georgetown into a national powerhouse to guiding NCAA champions and Olympians, Gags helped generations of runners believe in what they could achieve. 🚨 John Korir and COROS announce partnership 🚨 John Korir is the reigning back-to-back Boston Marathon champion, clocking a 2:01:52 course record. Korir also won the 2025 Chicago Marathon and the 2025 Valencia Marathon. The partnership, which runs through the 2028 Olympic Games, will see Korir using the COROS PACE series of watches while he trains. 🚨 Breaking - Peres Jepchirchir (KEN) has been provisionally suspended by the Athletics Integrity Unit (AIU) after a sample taken prior to the 2026 Sydney Marathon returned an "adverse analytical finding for EPO". Jepchirchir went on to win the 2026 Sydney Marathon. Previously she won the 2021 Olympic Title in the Marathon and the 2025 World Title in the Marathon. 🥇She has three other World Major Wins in NYC (2021), Boston (2022) and London (2024).

🤣 Reed Fischer's got the jokes! 🏃‍♂️ We caught up with Reed Fischer during his Chicago Marathon build for one of his “easier” tune-up threshold workouts. This was a slightly easier session sandwiched between two harder sessions around that same week. 📈 See how the Tinman Elite and Adidas athlete trained for the marathon. Top Woman In The World 🇺🇸🌎 🚨 Megan Smyth was the last woman standing and finished 22nd (tie) overall at the World Backyard Ultra Team Championships this week. She completed 82 yards (4.167 mile loops) and averaged 14:24 mile pace for 82 hours. Backyard Ultra is a 4.167 mile loop in which athletes must start on the hour every hour. Normally athletes are competing to be the last man standing but in the World Team format athletes are competing to add yards for their team. Megan helped lead Team USA back from a 58 yard deficit to Team Australia. Team USA would ultimately clinch the World Title. 📸 Megan Smyth

Former Tokyo Marathon champion Ruti Aga has received a six-year ban from the Athletics Integrity Unit (AIU) following a positive test for methylprednisolone and a finding of tampering with the anti-doping investigation. The Ethiopian marathoner tested positive after winning the Meishan Renshou Half Marathon in China on March 15, 2026. The AIU determined that Aga submitted a forged medical document and provided false information during the investigation. Aga, 32, won the Tokyo Marathon in 2019 and claimed the Xiamen Marathon title in both 2025 and 2026. Her six-year sanction includes two years for the presence/use violation and four years for tampering.
