@scottkurashige pulls no punches in turning the fear of the yellow peril on its head with his "American Peril: The Violent History of Anti-Asian Racism" from @ucpress. He documents countless examples of vigilante violence and state violence 1/2
in the face of the current regime's effort to whitewash history. It's an essential new work, one that will help frame the resistance to invented anti-immigrant hysteria. Tnx @PellienPR, @ThirdPlaceBooks.

Farewell to @BrianWilsonLive. He outlived both his brothers and I'm grateful to have his music. He had already composed this bittersweet farewell for the band's 50th anniversary in 2012 with the "Summer's Gone" suite. Give it a listen to the end. piped.video/T7LcrQ1ONlU
