The journey toward defending a championship officially begins.
Your 2025 HBCU National Champion South Carolina State Bulldogs have reported back to campus and wasted no time getting to work. The team was welcomed with a powerful message from Head Football Coach Chennis Berry @coachberry77 , setting the tone for another season built on discipline, sacrifice, and the relentless pursuit of excellence.
The standard hasn’t changed.
The mission hasn’t changed.
And the hunger is stronger than ever.

Mr. @GaryBorderslll is my 1st student-athlete to participate in an early signing ceremony.
He’s my 1st student-athlete to graduate high school in December and attend college in January.
He’s by far 1 of the most coachable student-athletes I have had the honor of leading.
Thank you God. After conversations with Family, Coaches, and friends I am truly honored to announce my commitment to South Carolina State University‼️Thank you to all my family, friends, and coaches for the countless support on my journey thus far. Pen to paper tomorrow at 1:30!! ✍️#AGTG #GoDogs @coachhowardg @SCState_Fb @kevinJking4 @CoachBonner1914 @Tc_robinson5 @LangRedBlacks @RivalsHS @RecruitGeorgia

You have come a long way since 8 years old. Earned a starting spot as a 9th grader & never looked back. You got better & more physical each year and that’s how ❤️ to play the game. Never got the chance to work you out but I still consider you one of my own 💎 I am very proud of U
