The Zohran admin has launched rental rip-off hearings for tenants to voice their landlord problems. The first hearing just happened in Brooklyn, and people vented about mold, holes in the floor, fires and more. What tenants voiced will now be incorporated into policy changes.

The first African American animator at the Disney Studios was Floyd Norman, who started as an in-betweener at Disney in the 1950s. He became a full-time animator in time to work on “Sleeping Beauty” in 1957 and also worked on “101 Dalmatians” and “Jungle Book.” He quit Disney after Walt died in 1966 to co-found Vignette Films, working on, among other things, the intro animation for the TV show “Soul Train,” and later on the “Fat Albert” show. He eventually returned to Disney as a story artist and writer, working on “Robin Hood,” “The Hunchback of Notre Dame,” “Mulan,” “Toy Story 2,” and “Monsters Inc.” He’s still with us, at 90 years old.

ICE break down bedroom door—point guns at mother & 4 U.S. citizen children. Agents drag mother by her hair & aim rifle at 13-year-old daughter—yell "Put your hands up, stupid!" Didn't show any ID or warrant before breaking in—were looking for someone else, a cousin who hadn't lived there for 2 years. Agents questioned the family for an hour—threatening to involve child services. Children have not felt safe to return home or go to school—afraid to leave their parents' sides. The incident occurred in an East Elmhurst apartment in Queens, New York. #DemsUnited
