A young white lioness in South Korea has been turning heads online with her pale cream fur, blue-gray eyes, and surprisingly long eyelashes.
Her name is Luna, and for a while some people weren’t even sure she was real she just looked that polished.
Luna was born on August 18, 2025, and lives at Nature Park in Daegu with her brother Luca.
Caretakers have been sharing photos and videos of the pair, but Luna’s look has drawn the most attention.
The soft coloring, light eyes, and those dark lashes give her an almost fairy-tale quality; a few people online even started calling her a Disney princess.
There’s a straightforward biological reason for her appearance.
White lions like Luna usually have a genetic condition called leucism, which lightens the fur without turning them fully albino, so their eyes and skin keep normal color.
The long eyelashes are just a normal protective feature against dust and debris.
As the pictures spread in 2026, people around the world got hooked on how she looks.
Still, the videos of her moving around and interacting with her keepers make it clear she’s a very real young lioness.
