Today, my @NJAssemblyGOP colleagues and I testified against Newark’s $498 MILLION school lease. One member admitted it could be built cheaper....then voted YES anyway. Another dismissed our criticism as unhelpful, claimed we offered no solutions, then delivered the classic line about “holding children hostage.” Apparently, asking for an alternative that doesn’t involve nearly HALF A BILLION dollars for a LEASE through a developer tied to major political donations was a bridge too far. The rebuttals from those testifying were disingenuous at best, and that’s me being complimentary. The show of entitlement was surreal: documented facts brushed aside, disputed enrollment projections left unresolved & legislators criticized for asking questions and pointing out irrefutable evidence. If the truth offended you, consider the parents across NJ whose children are losing teachers, sports, and programs as you lecture us about "caring for kids" while approving this unprecedented & gluttonous debacle. A farm which runs an egg honesty box in Maynooth in Co. Kildare, have taken to social media to upload a video of thieves taking a number of trays of eggs without paying for them. Dunne's Farm Pastured Eggs took to social media to make people aware of the thieves and post said the following: "This week on “People pretending to be honest” "2 more vermin who have been hitting us quite regularly. The bodycam footage is finally out. And now the truth is there for everyone to see. HeeHaw wasn’t charging. He wasn’t attacking. He wasn’t some uncontrollable threat. He was doing what everyone who knew him said he always did: running up to greet someone in his friendly, curious way. And for that, Officer Trenton Garner shot and killed him. Watching the footage makes this even harder to stomach. HeeHaw was a one-year-old miniature donkey, on his own property, being himself. That should never have ended with a gunshot. For weeks, we demanded answers. We demanded the footage. We demanded accountability. Now we have the footage, and if anything, it makes the need for justice even more urgent. There is no world where what happened to HeeHaw should simply be accepted and forgotten. We are furious. We are heartbroken. And we are more determined than ever. Officer Trenton Garner must be held accountable for what happened to HeeHaw. We will not stop speaking his name. We will not stop pushing for answers. We will not stop until there is justice. #JusticeForHeeHaw. Now more than ever.

Progressive NJ media continue to fearmonger & villainize the @USPS, so now let’s take a quick peek at the alternative they’re nudging you toward: NJ’s “secure” ballot drop boxes. Cameras required? Yes. Someone required to watch them live? NO. N.J.S.A. 19:63-16.1(b)(2)(a) expressly says a drop box is “not required to be within view of a live person for monitoring.” A required schedule for monitoring the feeds or routinely reviewing footage? NOPE. Neither the statute nor the state’s drop box guidelines establishes one. What could go wrong? I’ll tell you what could go wrong. BURLINGTON COUNTY. The RNC requested drop box footage & ballot pickup custody logs from the June 2025 primary. The Board of Elections said the footage from the drop box outside its own elections building was past the retention period & no longer on file. The pickup custody logs? Withheld under an election-security exemption. And just like that, the video was GONE. The records needed to verify who collected the ballots were WITHHELD. Huh. How unbelievably convenient. Looks like democracy’s NOT on the ballot. So how exactly is the public supposed to verify that these safeguards were followed? “Trust us, bruh.” I’m sick of hearing, “There’s no point in voting.” Botched motor voter registrations. Noncitizens registered & actually voting. Improper registrations involving incarcerated people. How many failures are we supposed to swallow before demanding accountability? This dumpster fire chips away at confidence in NJ’s elections, piece by piece. Wake up. Make noise. KEEP VOTING Sitting out & staying quiet only enables the people who think investigating themselves is the be all, end all. You deserve answers & independent, bipartisan oversight with subpoena power. The NJ Assembly GOP has put a concrete proposal on the table. AR156, sponsored by Assemblymen John DiMaio & Christopher DePhillips, would create a 12-member election integrity committee, evenly divided between appointees of the Speaker & Minority Leader, with a co-chair selected by each & subpoena power to compel testimony and obtain records. New York Democrats have declared WAR ON THE AMISH. Thanks to their unconstitutional attack on religion, they're now able to fine EACH unvaccinated Amish child $2,000 EVERY SINGLE DAY. ⠀ The $118,000 bill is one day, not the cap. Three one-room schools alone already owe that much for 59 children, at $2,000 each. ⠀ Health Commissioner Mary Bassett imposed it on December 15, 2022. She called the sum conservative because it assumed only one day out of compliance. ⠀ Dygert Road was billed $52,000 for 26 children. Pleasant View was billed $46,000 for 23. ⠀ Shady Lane was billed $20,000 for 10. ⠀ Footnote 9 of the Second Circuit opinion records the state's view. Each day an unvaccinated student attends is a fresh violation and a fresh $2,000 fine. ⠀ Another day for those 59 children is another $118,000. A 180-day year at that rate is about $21 million, and the families say they cannot pay the first bill. ⠀ Joseph Miller, Jonas Smucker, and Ezra Wengerd run the schools. The schools sit in Clymer and Heuvelton, plus the Canajoharie settlement, and take no public money. ⠀ They had a religious exemption for decades. On June 13, 2019, Democrats repealed it after measles spread through Orthodox Jewish neighborhoods in Brooklyn and Rockland County. ⠀ Governor Andrew Cuomo signed the bill. Governor Kathy Hochul left it in force. ⠀ A parent may not excuse a child for faith. ⠀ Senator James Skoufis said the exemption was made up and fake. Assemblyman Jeffrey Dinowitz called it utter garbage. ⠀ Counsel Aaron Siri told the New York Post the families can pay only if the state takes their land. Some in the community have talked of leaving the state. ⠀ The case is Miller versus McDonald. The Second Circuit ruled against them on June 30 in 2026. ⠀ A Supreme Court petition was due around September 28. Make sure EVERYONE sees this.
