It’s wonderful to see over 500 professionals here @ICCWales for our 2 day Professional Conference. So important to be together in person & not surprisingly people are most excited about networking, learning and sharing @macmillancancer #MacmillanProfessionals

A beautiful tribute. 💚 Thank you Gok and the House Gospel Choir for your support. All profits from this single will help us continue our support to people living with cancer.
We're so grateful to @therealgokwan who is releasing his charity single to support people affected by cancer following the death of his close friend Allison. You can pre-order A Deeper Love (A Tribute To Allison) here: gokwan.lnk.to/DeeperLove💚

I really welcome the announcement this week that there will be a national cancer plan. It will provide strategic direction & drive improved outcomes for people living with cancer. @BreastDocUK @Junedavis44 @DaBell5 @AdrienneBettel3 @RKBryce2 @Naman_Julka @drol007 @AshlingLillis
Great to see the Government confirm plans for a national cancer strategy - something we've long called for. With almost 1 in 2 people in the UK facing cancer, a dedicated cancer plan is our chance to transform care. Looking forward to working with @wesstreeting, @GwynneMP & @DHSCgovuk to make world-class cancer care a reality for all.

A national cancer strategy is a promising step that we and the cancer community have championed. The need for transformative care is urgent. We’re committed to working with @wesstreeting to help make world-class cancer care accessible to everyone, everywhere.

Fantastic resource. Sharing uncertainty and finding out what matters most to the people we meet in unplanned care isn’t easy but so important. Very relevant to acute cancer care. @HilaryWMedic @UKAOSociety @drol007
Excited to be launching this new infographic to support doctors with starting honest conversations in the urgent care setting #uncertainrecovery @RCPhysicians @acutemedicine @GeriSoc @lucypgeridoc @JohnLauner

Menopause or something more? Ovarian cancer symptoms - like bloating, tummy pain, and tiredness - can be confused with menopause, especially as ovarian cancer often develops around the time of menopause. Sadly, this overlap means that too many women are diagnosed late.

Off to a good start with the @PRDA_uk stand at #ARC2024, with lots of interest in the professional education side of things - the more people learn about #PelvicRadiationDisease the better 👍👍

A day of CNS celebration here in Leeds as 39 nurses complete this wonderful 2-year CNS development programme, 25 substantive Macmillan CNS posts already secured and award nominations. Now time to take the learning forward with plenty on the ‘’what’s next’ list! @macmillancancer
