Kanto and Tokyo region are allocated 6 spots for Spring Koshien. 4 spots goes to Kanto region, 1 spots to Tokyo, and one remaining as wild card. The last one will be decided based on autumn regional result. And this is always the trickiest part to predict which school to get it.

All four schools in top 4 Kanto are almost guaranteed to participate in Spring Koshien next year. This is huge for Teikyo Daisan since this will be their first ever Koshien appearance. Moreover, starting April next year the school name will be changed to Teikyodai Seiho.

The last spot usually goes to either one of top 8 Kanto or Tokyo runner-up. Currently if regionality factor are ignored and result matters more, Yamanashi Gakuin HS are in the frontrunner to get 5th slots. This may changes depending the result in the upcoming weeks.
