Ever since I found that out, everything makes sense
Being aware of who you are, how your brain works & making decisions based on that has been life changing
Do what you like and make a system around it so you don’t loose yourself
Don’t try to fit in. Create your own path
i’ve been diagnosed with ADHD, and one thing i’ve seen from meeting some incredibly successful people, including billionaires, is how many of them have it too.
i believe ADHD can be an enormous advantage if you learn how to work with it rather than against it.
i struggle to sit down and read a book, but i can hyperfocus on something i’m passionate about for 12 hours straight. i constantly need new environments, challenges and stimulation.
for a long time, these things might look like weaknesses. but in the right environment, they are your biggest strengths.
the key is self awareness. understanding where your brain performs best, what drains your energy, what deserves your attention and what you should delegate and just not do.
not everyone with ADHD experiences it the same way, and it certainly doesn’t guarantee success.
but i’ve learned that success isn’t necessarily about fixing every weakness. it’s about building a life where your strengths can compound.
