Hey !! I am actively looking for a remote full time engineer role centered around Backend, Infra or Full Stack. I have been building and doing backend related paid gigs, projects and also I love to write about terminologies and system around backend and infrastructure. I am very much equipped with Golang and many different tech stacks like PostgreSQL, Redis, Nginx which helps build for the scale and large systems Few Projects to consider >> OpenTelemetry Bridge Sidecar : Its transparent reverse proxy that injects distributed tracing into HTTP applications without having some major code changes. Backpressure layer for tcp/upd streams : it adjusts the data flow rate between services based on both network conditions something like RTT and packet loss Implemented 2 phase commit paper purely in golang >> Wrote a DAG benchmarking tool something like Netflix/P2pLabs repository wrote different IPLDs and benchmarked their performances >> Built Analytics Engine using Go, Graphana, Redis and docker >> Apizy, a visual API builder . One can connect build api's in raw nodeJs and expressJs by just dragging and dropping the code blocks There are many projects like this which was built with the motive to learn something new and to push me from my comfortable zone. If your team is looking for someone who is building in the same space and you think we are aligning I’d love to connect and talk more about my past work. My DMs are open

Reading company blogs just for passing the interview shouldn't be the sole moto don't read a blog just because the company is famous. Read it because the article explains a problem, the constraints, the alternatives, and why the engineers chose their solution
You can read them all , and they will through a hard DSA problem in the first round itself.

it is not going to fade away but what defines as a "junior" the hiring bar will keep getting higher 10 years ago if you have an internship or 2 by graduation regardless of your school or degree (doesn't even have to be CS degree) you'd be well ahead of the competition vs. nowadays as interviewer the standard new grad that comes to me (meaning, ATS system didn't filter out your resume and HR passed you too) is a CS degree from well known university plus 2 or 3 internships, plus 2 or 3 side projects

been reading all the quotes and comments on this post both on twitter and youtube (comments of the original video) Personally, one of the main reasons I like maths is I enjoy solving problems. I like to do that with no external help, and think deeply about ideas this way. It seems that this is becoming a hobby as opposed to a core part of the profession, since, in my field, it’s now always faster to work with an LLM than just with pen and paper. What I enjoy doing and the mathematician’s profession seems to be diverging, and this is making me sad. I wonder what the incentive to do research would be in future

Peeps out there, never bet against your health I have lost numerous intl. clients just because I was sick and weakness hit me like a truck due to lack of sleep But if you are deep down in the hustle culture and you still believe "less sleep" is a flex than just get yourself an anti glare glasses and a sipper/tumbler for drinking lots and lots of water ... all of it comes under ₹7000 (that is >$100) Happy learning anon :D
constant sleep deprivation has taken a toll on my body. can't sleep before 6 in the morning and wake up by 12, can't sleep any longer than that. 6 hrs isn't enough and it's affecting my productivity so bad. it's been 6 hrs since i woke up and i've done absolutely nothing. just feel irritated and tensed. didn't eat, just ate snacks. im fcking w my own health atp, i dunno when its gonna put me in a hospital bed. so don't be like me. be a good boy and take care of yourself.
