Forty years ago, Presidents Ronald Reagan and Mikhail Gorbachev met at the Höfði House House in Reyjkavik, Iceland for the first ever discussion of slowing down the nuclear arms race between superpowers. It was the moment when coordination on an existential threat moved from impossible to merely very hard.
This past weekend,
@tristanharris and
@aza gathered at the very same place with 15 world leaders — including Icelandic President Halla Tómasdóttir — to discuss how we can do the same from AI, and move from competition to coordination.
To hear more about this historic summit in to Iceland, stay tuned for a conversation with President
@HallaTomas on the next episode of our podcast, Your Undivided Attention.
