If I'm being honest, softball took a backseat the last week and a half, but my love for helping others never wavered. My community was impacted, my friends were impacted, and people I care about needed help. So, I showed up. I cleaned, carried supplies, helped organize donations, and did whatever was needed. I may not have gotten all the reps I normally would have, and I definitely wasn't as fresh stepping back onto the field this weekend, but I wouldn't change how I spent that time. Softball is a huge part of who I am, but it isn't all of who I am. Serving others, being part of my community, and showing up when people need help matter to me too. This week reminded me that sometimes there are things bigger than the game. ❤️ #HagerstownStrong
