3️⃣ Cloudflare × OpenAI, Rethinking AI Search
@Cloudflare and @OpenAI shared early results from a research pilot exploring how AI search systems can discover useful pages across the open web more efficiently.
Using signals from a participating group representing roughly 1% of Cloudflare’s network, the pilot helped OpenAI discover and index hundreds of millions of previously unknown pages. Cloudflare says the work uses metadata for search and discovery rather than sharing page content for model training.
☝️ For AI search, the challenge isn’t only answering well. It also has to find useful information that traditional popularity signals might miss.
