Congratulations to our colleague Peggy Nopoulos! We are grateful for her extraordinary leadership and commitment to mentorship.
“If you ask Peg what she is most proud of about her career and what makes her work meaningful, she won’t hesitate in her response,” says Aaron Boes, MD, PhD. “It is her mentees.”

Pay attention to the cerebellum!
Evidence for the cerebellum’s involvement in cognition, emotion, and social behavior goes back to the 1800s.
“There was a little counterculture going back right to the beginning that was completely neglected” says @SchmahmannLab knowmag.org/33gMiAx

The cerebellum is finally receiving the attention it deserves at #SFN2019. @NIMHDirector thanks for the great question about cerebellar modulation of frontal dopamine receptor expressing neurons. We’re working on an answer for you!
Cerebellum symposium starts now! @NIMHgov’s Andrew Rossi introduces; @IowaParkerLab starts us off describing role of cerebellum in timing. #SfN19
