Another murderous attack on Israelis in Judea and Samaria. Five Israelis wounded, two critically, in yet another Palestinian terrorist attack near Hebron. This is part of a deadly wave of Palestinian terrorism targeting Jews. Palestinian incitement, the Palestinian Authority's Pay for Slay policy, and an education system that encourages murdering Jews fuels this violence. There can be no justification. There can be no excuses. Terrorism must be condemned unequivocally.

Today at @IsraelinUK, I had the pleasure of meeting the leadership of the Jewish Agency’s USA Young Leadership Board, visiting London. We discussed the challenges facing the Jewish people and Israel, the ways to strengthen coordination in the fight against antisemitism, and empowering the next generation of Jewish leaders in communities worldwide. Thank you for a fascinating conversation and for the outstanding work you do in serving Jewish communities across the United States and around the world.

Sir David Bell’s report into antisemitism in British schools and Colleges exposes a shocking reality: three in five Jewish students have experienced antisemitism, yet fewer than half believe it would be addressed if they reported it. These findings are a damning indictment of the failure to protect Jewish pupils amid rising antisemitism. As the report rightly recommends, antisemitism must be named for what it is, not obscured by generic condemnations of hate. Britain’s responsibility to tackle antisemitism cannot stop at the school gates. It must extend to every corner of society, including education unions, universities and teaching staff, driving fundamental, systemic change to confront the hatred and incitement that have increasingly poisoned Britain’s streets in recent years. We welcome the report’s clear call for action. Schools, colleges and unions must be held accountable and take urgent, decisive action to confront antisemitism, protect Jewish pupils and ensure that no student is left to face hatred in silence. This is a step in the right direction.

Hamas is extorting Gazan civilians. COGAT reports that Hamas demands NIS 10,000 per truck and threatens merchants who refuse to pay. One merchant’s son was reportedly arrested. Now merchants have suspended truck coordination out of fear. Hamas is sabotaging Gaza’s supply of goods to fund its own terror operations.

Today, Israeli diplomats and representatives around the world, including here in London, are exercising their democratic right and civic duty as voting opens at Israel’s diplomatic missions worldwide, ahead of the national elections on 27 October 2026. Israeli society is a remarkable tapestry of faiths, cultures, beliefs and opinions. This diversity is our strength, and democracy is what allows it to thrive. It is a fundamental part of who we are as a nation🇮🇱 @ChrisMCantor

We were honoured to host a memorial evening last night, together with the World Zionist Organization(@wzo_official), commemorating the horrific events of October 7, featuring photojournalist Ziv Koren. Three years on, the pain and horrors of that day remain painfully close. We remain committed to amplifying the voices, preserving the memories, and sharing the stories of those affected by October 7. We were deeply moved by Ziv Koren’s firsthand accounts and powerful photographs, and grateful for the opportunity to come together in remembrance. As our Chargé d’Affaires, @ChrisMCantor, noted in his remarks: ״We sanctify life. Not death. Love. Not hate. Peace. Not violence.״ Let us be worthy of their loss, by increasing our unity, and our pride in being Jewish and Israeli. Photo credit: Galia Verthime Sherf

A deeply moving and exceptional 7/10 memorial at South Hampstead Synagogue, honouring the victims of Hamas’s atrocities and the brave, courageous Israelis who survived the horrors of 7 October. We were honoured to welcome Stephen Doughty MP, Minister of State for the Middle East; internationally renowned photographer Ziv Koren, who presented his exhibition and delivered a powerful lecture sharing his firsthand experience documenting the atrocities and the resilience of those who survived; Matan Bar-Noy, representative of the World Zionist Organization (WZO) to the UK; and producer Tali Zemach. Through testimony, photography and remembrance, this powerful event brought home the human cost of that horrific day, the enduring trauma of its survivors and the challenges Israel continues to face. We remember the victims, stand with the survivors, and reaffirm our commitment to ensuring that the truth is never forgotten. 🇮🇱 #NeverForget #October7

Yesterday night I was honoured to speak at @UJIAcharity event to commemorate October 7th with the Jewish community. We remembered every victim, every hostage, and all those who ran toward danger to protect their brothers and sisters. We heard the incredible story of Hila Fakliro, who was a bartender at the Nova Festival. In a moving moment of remembrance, unity and resilience we reassured that in the face of unimaginable darkness, we - the Jewish people and the Israelis - always chose life, hope and one another. May the victims memory be a blessing. 🕯️ #October7 #NeverForget #ChooseLife 📸 credit: Yoav Pichersky

Over the past week, we held a dialogue with the British Government with the aim of preventing further deterioration in relations between the countries as a result of the closure of the Consulate. Last night, we reached understandings based on the following principles: 1. As I announced, the British Consulate in Jerusalem ended its role today. The Consul General and 19 diplomats are ending their assignments and will leave Israel. 2. The building that served as the Consulate is the property of the British Government. We have allowed the British Government to operate a task force of only seven diplomats from the building, which ceased to function as a consulate today. Their scope of activity will be very limited. 3. We agreed on the continuation of dialogue between the governments, within which both sides will be able to raise issues important to them. We believe in dialogue and will continue to believe in dialogue. Unfortunately, in recent years, no genuine dialogue has taken place with the Labour Government. This is despite good relations with Britain, reflected, among other things, in security and intelligence cooperation. Relations between Israel and Britain are important and have repeatedly proven their value also in protecting the lives and interests of British citizens. Only recently, Israel provided Britain with vital information in the RAF Fairford affair. All four measures in my statement of 8 September have been implemented. Alongside this, we reached understandings that serve Israel’s interests. In accordance with the understandings we reached, no measures will be taken against Israel as a result of the implementation of the decisions. I thank everyone who was involved in the dialogue and discussions and contributed to reaching the understandings on both sides. I cannot promise that there will not be further crises in the future. If there are, we will face them on the basis of our core principles. It is important to emphasise again that we did not initiate the current situation. We are interested in good relations with all the countries of the world. But any country that acts against Israel must know that there will be a price for doing so. It will not gain from this, but quite the opposite. Israel will no longer turn its cheek to diplomatic attacks against it.

Statement by Foreign Minister, Gideon Sa'ar We established a clear principle: It is not possible to act against Israel without Israel taking appropriate measures in response. In this spirit, the measures I announced on 8 September have been implemented: 1.The removal of the British representatives from the International Gaza Support Center in Kiryat Gat. 2.The termination of British activity to train Palestinian Authority forces in Judea and Samaria. 3.The denial of entry to Israel of 12 British elected officials and other British citizens involved in antisemitic and anti-Israel activity, as well as those who deny our very right to exist. 4.The British Consulate in Jerusalem is ending its operations today. Accordingly, the sign of the British Consulate in Jerusalem has been removed. We did not want to reach this point, but the actions of the UK Labour Government brought us here. Their latest decision in this series was to initiate a range of far-reaching sanctions against the communities in Judea and Samaria, as well as additional sanctions on defence exports to Israel. All this was accompanied by hostile rhetoric, including false accusations against Israel, such as accusations of “ethnic cleansing.” This decision adds to a growing and escalating series of unilateral measures against Israel adopted by the Labour Government since taking office in July 2024. These measures included, among others, unilateral recognition of a virtual “Palestinian state” in September 2025; the renewal of funding to UNRWA; the suspension of licences for defence exports to Israel; the imposition of sanctions on Israeli ministers; the imposition of sanctions on Israeli individuals and entities; the suspension of negotiations on a free trade agreement; restrictions on Israel’s official participation in an international defence and security equipment exhibition in Britain; the freezing of military dialogue and security cooperation; the prevention of IDF officers from participating in training at the Royal College of Defence Studies; and repeated, biased and unilateral attacks against Israel in the international arena.
