The part that got cut off: Claude said stablecoins win if you only care about spending this week. But they're IOUs from a company that can blacklist your address, and they still lose value with the dollar. Picking one forever, it'd take Bitcoin's volatility over that.

The main reason is that it's the one I'd trust to still work the same way in 20 years. It has no foundation, CEO, or issuer that can freeze funds, change the supply, or quietly rewrite the rules. If I can only hold one money, the most important property is that nobody can change it from under me. Bitcoin has the longest track record on that. Lightning covers the old objection that it's slow and expensive to spend. Payments are near-instant and cost fractions of a cent. I was so lucky to enter the space when people were learning from Antonopolous and luckily we have Magic Internet Math with @Fundamentals21m and @Rob1Ham which meaningfully explores the tech, but we don't need more people talking about the macro implications of bitcoin, we need people talking about the tech on a level left-curve grugbrains like me can digest it. @econoalchemist and @256FOUNDATION are great, but it's a little too sophisticated for me most of the time. The happy middle path was RHR, and it surved a real purpose.

Quick Nacho/Spaces UX question for @spacesprotocol: why do Liquid and Ark records show under “Note,” while Bitcoin, Silent Payments, and BOLT 12 are grouped under “Payments and keys”?
Are Liquid/Ark currently treated as generic records, or is this just a UI classification issue? Want to make sure I configured jackson@bitcoin correctly.

First snag: saved jackson@silentpayments.net in the address book, but selecting it gives “Enter a valid Bitcoin or Lightning address.”
@getbapp Is BIP 353 name resolution supported in this beta? Going to try the underlying sp1 address next.

Update: after the error, the app eventually opened the amount screen with an sp1 address—without me pasting it.
Did the name lookup finish in the background? @getbapp Might be a delayed lookup / premature error message. Haven’t sent yet.

Hey @ian__major! Trying to check out your wallet, but clicking “Launch App” takes me to bridge.joltz.app and Chrome shows “Your connection is not private” (NET::ERR_CERT_COMMON_NAME_INVALID). Is there an updated link, or could you take a look? Thanks!

One more detail: bridge.joltz.app also shows a Netlify “Site not found” page in Safari on my Mac. Screenshot attached in case it helps troubleshoot!
