The trend is pretty obvious: every crypto exchange is trying to be a new bank. Look at Coinbase, Kraken, Binance, OKX. They are no longer only crypto exchanges. They do equity trading, they build payments, they build everything, basically financial platforms for everything
Consumers don't need ten different apps to deal with different assets. People just want one interface for all their financial assets, and that's why Robinhood is doing all the different things. This is disruptive to traditional banking, because banks are far behind on these innovations: crypto, on-chain assets, global customers
