Philadelphia Eagles since Jalen Hurts was drafted in 2020:
when Jalen Hurts starts:
59-28 record (67.8%)
when Jalen Hurts doesn't start:
6-14-1 record (31.0%)
Turns out Hurts might be pretty fucking important to the Eagles' success.

Northwestern was 2-1.
Then 3-1.
Then 4-1.
Then 5-1.
Then 6-1.

A message to the Ryan Family: Please adopt flex pricing. Top 25 team and incredible stadium and it’s maybe 50-60% full. Team is moving to 6-1. Please just fill the stadium.

This whole Jalen Hurts situation is wild. Why the fuck did the Eagles let him play?

Everyone's blaming Sirianni. Fine.
Howie's receipts:
• Up to $78M for Jordan Davis (under half the snaps)
• No OL in Rounds 1-2
• 2 thirds + $100M for Greenard (0 sacks)
• 4 QBs on the roster
• Co-signed a first-time play-caller at OC
4 straight L's. Howie built this.

Whatever happens to Nick Sirianni, he’ll be a Super Bowl champ but how do you describe his legacy in Philly sports history? He’s an “offensive” guy w no answers.
When injuries hit, coaching is essential.
Aside from win pct, what does he do well?

Aidan Chiles deserves so much more attention for the year he’s having at Northwestern.
1,172 passing yards, 9 TDs, ZERO interceptions and a 71.4% completion rate.
He’s completely transformed his game under Chip Kelly, and Northwestern is sitting at 4-1.
One of the best stories in college football. 🔥🏈

Following the reaction on here to this article, Northwestern coach David Braun sent a note to Josie in support:
Braun wrote: “For the record.... I really liked your article! It was candid and your personal perspective. I'm glad you experienced the thrill of team spirit and did it with friends and community. When done right - this is what makes college football so special! Ignore the social media trolls and enjoy your Fall Quarter!
I hope you decide to learn the Fight Song and we look forward to having you at more games in the future. Go 'Cats!!”
In Opinion:
“Standing in Ryan Field this weekend, even as a fiercely anti-football anti-sports-team person, I have to admit I did feel kind of proud to go to Northwestern,” writes Assistant Opinion Editor Josie Belfer. dailynorthwestern.com/?p=326…
