Public office doesn’t make you more important than the people paying your salary. It makes you accountable to them. I’m tired of these democratic socialists thinking they speak for everyone. Answer the hard questions. Own your decisions. Deliver results. If that’s too much to ask, you have no business asking for their vote.

Florida agriculture doesn’t stop at the farm gate. Jay Peanut Farmers Co-op and Golden Gin help move peanuts and process cotton, while Panhandle Growers raises shade and ornamental trees across more than 350 acres. It was great to visit these Santa Rosa County agribusinesses as they continue to recover from hurricane damage. Agriculture suffered real financial loss after Hurricane Isaias.

A raise should help you get ahead. When higher grocery costs, insurance premiums and utilities eat every dollar of it, you’re running in place. Before politicians propose another tax or mandate, they need to explain how much more families will have to pay.

Yesterday, I visited JM Diamond Farm and Paul Griswold Farm in Santa Rosa County to survey storm damage and see the peanut and cotton operations helping to feed and clothe our country. Remember to watch out for farm equipment on the backroads. The debris stacked along county roads makes it harder for the tractors to create space. Stay Alert. Stay Alive!

Your vote deserves leaders with the backbone to defend it. The DOJ announced election-related charges against 48 noncitizens, including six in Florida. We have to back investigators, give prosecutors the resources to make their cases and demand accountability for anyone who broke the law. Free and fair elections are the bedrock of our Republic.

A violent repeat offender gets released. Someone else gets hurt. Then we hear they were “known to authorities.” If the system knew they were dangerous, why were they free? Their second chance shouldn’t come at the expense of someone else’s life. Vote red. Put public safety first.

Every seat they win means more influence over your taxes, spending and freedom. Take them seriously. Make them defend their agenda. Get out and vote to stop this radical movement.

A 15-year-old has been arrested in connection with the shooting near FAMU that injured 12 people. This is heartbreaking on every level. Families are hurting, lives have been changed, and a young person is now facing serious consequences. We have a responsibility to teach our kids right from wrong, that actions have consequences, and that violence is never the answer. I commend the Tallahassee Police Department for their swift action and stand with law enforcement as they continue their investigation.

A parent asking what their child is being taught is doing their job. Schools should be able to answer without getting defensive or making families jump through hoops. Parents shouldn’t need a lawyer or a public records fight to find out what’s happening in their kid’s classroom.
