Previously writing on something called 'International Law'. Appalled by the state of the world. Close to quitting this media.

I express my full support to our students who rightly and peacefully protest against mass atrocities in Palestine. Police repression on Sciences Po campuses across France is shocking and reminiscent of dark times. #fascismreturns

In this new piece, I argue that the suspicion of machines at work in academia rests on a mistaken premise. Our modes of inscription have always been changing. AI is simply the next chapter in a very old story. voelkerrechtsblog.org/agains…

International law is alive and well (but those who want it gone, despite having profited from it for centuries, prefer to see things differently)

You will be shocked to learn that the University of Copenhagen has dismissed @UKLFI's complaint against me, finding "no grounds" for it.
This tweet is false and @UKLFI issued it knowing it to be false.

History-writing is always a comparative & pattern-making exercise. The holocaust iterated and maximized four centuries of genocidal colonialism. Today, Gaza replicates both colonialism and the holocaust. Unless censored, history books, in a decade, will make no other comparisons.

The celebrations of Nov 1st have never been as much in need of a proper extra signification: 70 years ago, Algerians said no to colonialism & initiated a new era. Their courage then gives us hope today that 2024 colonialism & mass murder will come to end. rfi.fr/en/africa/20241101-th…
